Ironmaster Preacher Curl Attachment

Nice wide pad for preacher barbell or dumbbell curls. The angle has 3 positions of adjustment. Seems well made.

Once you buy into a bench and other accessories you're kind of stuck. Luckily Ironmaster makes good equipment. The welds are very well done and everything feels like quality. This preacher curl attachment is no exception. I like the angle adjustment however the bar holder is kind of odd. Due to it being in the center and small, you can't have a bar on it and add more weight to it one side at a time.

First, I absolutely LOVE IronMaster. I have their adjustable dumbells, with all expansion packs, weigh stand, super bench, dip attachment, crunch attachment.... I love all of them and think they are the best you can get for your home gym.Enter this piece of crap. Mushy cushion with baggy cheap-feeling vinyl covering that offers zero support, a terrible bar holder (I just clean my bar and sit down... the holder is truly useless), and it fits so loosely into the bench that I feel like it is going to roll over.IronMaster, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I bought directly from the IM website.

awsome product with variety of angles to work withi use it behind my truck on the chassis since I'm over the road driver the base is screwed to the chassis while I can remove the the attachment when I'm done with itI'll will be putting later

I don't know why people complain about this product? I have been using it for several workouts now, and it is great! The cushion is a little softer than the bench they sell, but it hasn't flattened at all....even after several days of being squashed by one of my bars. It was squished for one workout, but it bounced back in a day or two. It is definitely wide enough for anyone. I think they should have the steel back a bit wider than it is, but it seems ok, and I don't doubt their warranty at all. I put the super bench on the first incline level, and it's great. I put the ez curl bar on the front of the cage...works like a charm!

Well designed, well thought out and easy and comfortable to use. If you own the bench you should also own the preacher curl attachment. It's equal in quality to the outstanding Ironmaster bench.

The only issue I have with this product is the bar hook. It does not protrude long enough to easily place the curl bar onto it without full extending you arms. However, NO ONE should be using a bench to bench press without being inside a cage for safety. I just set my cage safety bars to the same height of the bar hook and can drop the curl bar onto the safety bars easily. So if you have a cage (you better) and the Ironmaster bench, this preacher curl add on is the one for you!
