This is the second Moscow Mule Copper Mug I've purchased, and I love it! I purchased this mug for myself, and another style/brand for my husband for our 7th anniversary gift - along with a bottle of Gray Goose vodka, limes, Crabbies Ginger Beer, and Barritt's Diet Ginger Beer (no alcohol/no calories). What a fun anniversary gift for both of us! I made the drinks according to the recipe provided - I added the ice first, then vodka, ginger beer, and squeezed half a lime into the mug. This mug can hold some serious ice and liquid. The size of this mug is perfect for a lot of ice, as well as your drink. It keeps the drink unbelievably cold - even the handle was ice cold.The mug came in cardboard Stubborn Mule box, wrapped in tissue paper, and in a plastic bag. I washed the mug with warm, soapy water (don't let your water get too hot - copper conducts heat just like it conducts cold) to remove the oil smell/residue from the manufacturing process.The handle looks to be soldered, not riveted to the body of the mug.The mug is beautifully crafted, and hammered. It has a high shine. I am looking forward to the mug acquiring a patina as the years go by. I do not mind the look of aged copper. There are instructions on how to care for your mug on the box.There was also a sticker on the bottom of my mug: Made in India.Overall I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and am looking forward to many years of Moscow Mules with my hubby!If this product doesn't perform as stated in the long run, I will definitely come back and revise my review and ratings. These mugs are great. Pure copper no stainless lining etc. Nicely attached handles - perfect for Moscow Mules and other drinks.But I was very disappointed at the price. I had purchased two mugs-exact same mugs from same vendor three days prior to this order and paid $24 each (plus a 5% discount for buying two) and then three days later same vendor is selling them for $36 each? Felt like I got the Christmas 'lump of coal' but needed one more for the holidays so just bought it.I recommend this mug but buyer beware of the price you pay.Well worth the $24 each because of quality of construction and pure copper (5 stars).

The mugs looked and worked great for a couple of uses then after a few hand washes the sheen is gone and there is discoloration revealing a grey tinny color. For the price they get the job done i suppose.

The mug keeps the drink nice and cold but it sweats terribly. It also hard to drink out of it due to the rounded lip.

Very nice mule cups, no complaint with the quality, they are extremely well polished and thus very shiny, if it wasn't for the curvature and hammer dents I would be able to see my reflection in them. I wanted engrave these and give as a present but they are a bit too rounded for most engraving machines so I ended up ordering different ones and kept these stubborn mule ones for myself.

I own every copper mug that you can buy. From the lined versions from Sam's Club to the higher end solid copper versions found at specialty shops. This is by far the best solid mug I have found. The handle is very comfortable and hammered/polish look is most refined. If you are looking, spend the little extra money and get this mug.
