Anatomy of the Dog: In Straightforward Terms

I plan to use some of these in my classes upcoming. Instructive and great illustrations for the lay-person in the dog field, or for the pet owning family that wants an inside glimpse into their canine physique.

Could be a little more specific, but good basics.

I will probably return this book, I was looking for more detail. Unfortunately one almost has to purchase an actual textbook and I was hoping to avoid that with this book. It is nice for a really basic look at dog anatomy.

Too basic for me, I need something more advanced and I felt the information and pictures were not as advanced as they could have been.

It is well written. Easy to understand. Pictures are easy to understand. A good add on for your dog book collection.

A brilliant book, very easy to read and understand, I would gladly recommend this book to anyone. I purchased it as I am studying for a Diploma in Canine studies and it is very useful.

Good basic information but not quite as in depth as I had hoped.A large amount of the content is given over to the muscular skeletal systems and very minimal information on the other systems within the animal.

Excellent "beginners'" guide.

Really useful, easy to follow - used for a degree in canine behaviour when I had pharmacology and health modules

Good, solid basic book of the dog's anatomy! For those of us who can barely remember school biology this is a very good, easily accessible book.
