Sturdy and well made
Fits my Glock 42 perfectly. I like a belt slide holster so no complaints there. I don’t like the position of the release button. Under stress it may be possible for the trigger finger to slip inside the trigger guard while actuating the weapon release during the drawing movement and potentially discharge the weapon unintentionally. I have not done so but am sufficiently concerned to drill the movement frequently to avoid such situations.

Not used to OWB carry
Bought this at a GREAT price! Was shipped through Amazon Prime.I've always carried IWB so I thought to try something OWB. This is a decent holster. It appears to be pretty durable and fits my pistol according to the size posted. I've always prefered having a retention holster but since IWB don't function that way it's nice to know I have one holster that fits that need.Setting up the holster to your specific preference will take some trial and error. That being said, that's what makes this holster a good one...you can set it to your individual liking. Smooth on the inside so as not to mar your pistol and you have two methods to secure, either clipped to your waistband or through your belt. I'm thinking through the belt is better being that the retention release may force the holster inwards when secured over the pants, making it a small struggle to get to your pistol. Through the belt allows this holster to be more rigid, meaning when needed to draw, it freezes to you side and allows for a better glide for your hand. OWB and it tends to wobble towards your hip and away from your hip, if that makes sense. My one concern is the screws staying in place. I feel like they're going to have to be checked REGULARLY AND OFTEN, so keep this in mind. Unless you want to use a thread-locker (use the RED if so to allow easier adjustment!).For the price I paid ($10) it's a GREAT deal. They normally sell in the stores for $30+. Would I pay the retail price? Probably as I've compared other OWB retention holsters and this one, IMO, is the best for me!
