NET-DYN 300M USB WiFi Adapter N-2 dBi Antenna-300Mbps-Wireless Internet Dongle for PC Plus Mac

I just received this Net-Dyn USB WiFi Adapter yesterday afternoon from Amazon. Today, at 1:00 PM, I received an email from Net-Dyn saying that I should have received my adapter by now and giving me a link to the driver and installation files if I am running Windows 8 or 10 (which it now supports!). Nice touch, Net-Dyn! I don't think I have ever bought a product and the manufacturer has contacted me so quickly to help with installation without even being asked, so added stars for that! So let's get on to the product......1) Fit and finish. This USB adapter came nicely packaged with the USB portion separated from the antenna and the mini installation disc sandwiched in the cardboard behind the adapter. Packaging was easy to open, requiring no scissors or knives. Product is built solidly and antenna screwed on with no issues and the angle is adjustable.2) Installation. I am running Windows 7 64-bit, Ultimate Edition. I plugged the adapter into a free USB port and Windows 7 tried immediately to install the drivers for the adapter, but came back 30 seconds later with a message saying that the drivers were NOT successfully installed. I whipped out the mini installation disc, clicked on the Setup file and installed the drivers and software. After a reboot of my computer, the adapter was immediately picked up. All I had to do at this point was find my wireless network and enter the security phrase. I immediately noticed that my signal was excellent! I am about 50 feet from my router, through several walls and know how my wireless signal usually is and this adapter performed better than the wireless card that came installed in my PC! I believe the antenna has a lot to do with that! (Screenshot below).3) The Realtek 11n USB Wireless Utility that comes on the installation disc is pretty nice software! Not only does it easily let you connect to your WiFi network, but you can also change the mode of the adapter to Access Point mode and use the adapter as an access point! I know that the signal in my Master Bedroom is pretty lousy with my current WiFi setup. With this adapter plugged into my PC one floor below and on the opposite side of the house from my Master Bedroom and in AP (Access Point) mode, my WiFi signal is DRASTICALLY improved! Nice work, Net-Dyn!4) With the adapter in Station mode, I went to Speedtest.net and tested the downstream and upstream speeds over WiFi and have a screenshot below. This adapter is on par, speed-wise, with my Wired Connection! Woo Hoo!In closing, this is an excellent USB WiFi adapter and at this price point, is a steal!

I have a 4 year old laptop. Its fine for what its used for but the wi-fi is much older technology than is used now. This has always been a major detriment.Well no more.I saw this little USB device with antenna and had to give it a try. Couldnt be any worse than nothing, right? Well I plugged it in and it loaded some drivers, but they were not up to date with Windws 10. Compatible, yes. But still no better really.A few hours after doing this I got an email from the seller telling me there were newly updated driver that would make it more compatible with Windows 10. He included a download link for the driver. So off I went to the drivers., dowloaded and installed them. Rebooted and whooooopeeeeee.I now hoave fastest wi-fi Ive ever had with the internet we use now.So very pleases with this purchase.Would very highly recommend this to anyone that has an older computer that only recognizes 802.11b, g. This device will get you up to 802,11n in no time. A lot less expensive than purchasing a new computer for sure.The device is small, lightweight, takes up very little room and the antenna is virtually omni-directional. Its very sensitive too as my computer is about 70 feet away from the wi-fi hotspot in the house.VERY highly recommend this product!!!!

Adapter I am not a tech savvy person so the statistics will have to come from the site. However, Ii know when something works for me and this does. Fits into a standard USB port so it can be used for almost any laptop,computer or tablet . This has a strong signal strength when using on my computer. I took it outside and set in my driveway to test it. The results where good.The Wifi USB Wireless Adapter is a good option for strengthening wireless signals. Easy wireless security at a push of the WPS button. It allowed me to connect to my laptop to a wireless network and access high-speed internet connection relatively easy. We have one of the fastest Wifi's in the country and I don't like it when reception is bad.This is really a small wireless adapter. It was easy to install, had to be for Granny here. Just plug in the USB and connect to your internet. You don't have to be tech savvy it's ready right out of the box but comes with software for more features and configurations if you need them. This is what I understand on using it Connect it to your computer, then go to the device manager, look for network adapters, there will be a yellow or red exclamation point for your reference, right click and click update driver software,select browse my computer for driver software, Click windows installer in it's drop down menu ,select "RTWLANU_Driver. Next, on the update driver software window click, next, then the install will take place.You will be connected to your wireless network..This seems to be very well .. I'm very pleased with the portability of this WiFi USB adapter***IN EXCHANGE for my true impartial review, my own findings, I received this Promotional Item at no cost.***.

Works great. Good signal receive. My laptop is placed inside one of the drawers of my toolbox and can't get a good signal. This solves the problem by running a USB extension wire outside through a hole & connecting this on the other end.

Puede que no sea compatible con windows 10, mi windowews no lo reconocio.Recomiendo invertir en una tarjeta de red wifi, cuesta casi el doble que este cacharro pero es mucho mas confiable.
