I HAD ONE, or a similar 'one' it snapped at the most inopportune time---when I FR-NG NEEDED it. Settling for two, I was blown away by how 10 years with just one was a waste of muscle and torque, with 2, it made the replacement of a filter a cake walk (whatever that is, but I assume it's where you walk and if they say stop you win the cake that corresponds with the number you're standing on--it's an 80's thing).

Our water softener company used this type of housing wrench for installation. This one has a smaller handle, but size of ring fits. Good price.

The plumber just showed up to change my filters.... Two Pentek 150071 3/4" #10 Standard Clear Filter Housings with Pressure Relief.To my shock....the wrench you sold me is too large for the above filter even though you said it would fit. What size do I need?

I broke 2 of these trying to get my filter off. I ended up using a plumber's slipjoint pliers. It took all of 15 seconds and it was loose. Lesson learned go buy some pliers.

It was good value for the money, but it felt a little thin when applying more pressure than I was comfortable with. I think it would be better if it was just a little thicker. It would give the user more confidence.
