Excellent quality at a fair price
I've been favorably impressed with the Yellow Jacket gauge sets I've purchased. My first was a set of R-410a gauges back before Yellow Jacket was a well-known brand. The price was great and the gauges have proved to be rugged and accurate. So when my old R-134a gauges wore out, I was happy to find another affordable set of Yellow Jacket gauges, this time for automotive work. I'm really happy with them. Sadly, this brand is now often rather expensive. If you get a chance to buy them at a modest price, it's definitely worth it. They are so much better than the no-name low-end imports.

Quality hoses and manifold
After repairing a broken part in my system, I needed to recharge the A/C on my daily driver, and most of the low to mid range manifold sets have some pretty poor reviews about being unreliable and leaky. I aimed for a little higher price point and sprung for this Yellow Jacket unit, which I understand to be a pretty reputable HVAC brand, and I'm glad I did. The manifold worked a treat during the recharge job. It has very solid, simple construction and all of the fittings sealed perfectly. You do need some adapters (I used the Mountain 8201 R-12 to R-134a Conversion Quick Connect Coupler Set) for automotive work. The gauges were nice and accurate. This should be a quality piece of equipment for any future automotive A/C repair needs, and I'm glad I invested in it.

Good American quality. Like the built in storage nipples( ithink that's what they are). Yellow Jacket is highly regarded if you check out non Amazon reviews also, such as Google reviews. You'll find lots of professionals praising the brand,and they've been around a long time.That's why I bought it.

Work Great
The quality is much better than the cheap Harbor Freight set that I had been using. They work perfect, I would buy them again, except they will out last me. ( Made in USA.)
