but ...Please, Please, PLEASE bring back the other colors, particularly the Oak. I've been hording my last 8 oz bottle of Oak for several years, using it as sparingly as I can since it's no longer being sold. It'll be a sad day when I'm lapping up the dregs.This water-based stain is incredibly easy to use, goes on evenly and dries quickly. To the 1-star reviewer who said the Oak come out orange: it will appear that way but if given a good fine-sanding after it dries, the color will mute out to a lovely golden oak. Additionally you can dilute it with water for a less vivid result.The colors I use are the Oak, Maple, Mahogany and Cherry so Plaid/FolkArt, please bring them back!

I used this on a dresser I was revamping, and it turned out really well! The stain was a bit darker than I expected, but it ended up looking nice regardless. The stain was super easy to apply. I sealed it with some clear acrylic spray paint afterwards, but I don't think it was really necessary.

It's very easy to use, but be aware that the WALNUT color is very very dark. Dried quickly to a matte finish.

Leaves a sheer stain or tiny on unpainted wood. Makes a pretty color gray.

Great price, easy to use! I do wood crafting, rather smaller pieces. So I can’t say for large pieces of furniture etc. That being said after using this product I would give it a go if I ever come up with a bigger project! Awesome stuff! There is actually a slight smell but nothing like the putrid brain cell killing smells I’m used to! Buy! Buy! Buy!

I used it on my concrete desert tortoise as a top coat for blending the the bright color and it worked perfectly. The walnut for the shell and the oak for the body. See the before and after picture.

Works great, easy to apply, easy clean up, dried fast and wasn’t oily when dry, nice color and no odor! I used it in the house

Finally had an opportunity to try this product and I was VERY impressed with the results. It was very easy to use and produced a perfect clear image. It is a bit smelly so try ti make sure you're using in a ventilated space.

Goes on great with a sponge and I like the look of it when it dries.

This is a great alternative to traditional stain. Especially as the weather gets colder, you can use it inside and it gives a nice stained look.

I thought the color or tint would be a little different. I'll have to play around with it to get the desired look I'm looking for. Otherwise, it is a very nice color on its own.
