Great timer. Have had many others in the past but being outside and exposed to the elements they wear out.Nice feature that has been added is two outlets at bottom of timer. The older ones had just one.Nothing fancy about it but it gets the job done.

Works super well for the front porch lights, the timer turns them on at dusk and they go off at about 1am. The weatherproof function seems to work for me, I sprayed it with the hose yesterday for good measure (jk wasn’t looking where the hose was pointed) and the hardware Held up, the lights were back on that evening.

I intentionally bought a version without a remote. Wanted to simply plug in and forget. Been using about a month to control outside lights - dusk to dawn function. So far works great.

We used these outside for our Christmas lights and decorations. Did the job it was intended to do and was cheaper to buy it online than in the store. Happy with the purchase.

I've had this thing 2 months. It hasn't burnt down the apartment complex yet. It will stand up to a good down pour under an awning of about 3ft. Kept the lights around the porch fence lit through 3 heavy rainstorms. And I like the dawn/dusk setting. (Who reviews an f'n extension cord?)Oh, I guess I did.

Runs out big zapper. We got a really cheap bug zapper with no photocell for the evening, we paired it with this and saved about $30. It has been plugged in working for a full year now

I've tried a few others, but they ended up not working properly.This one does the job and already last longer than others. It doesn't have to be this difficult to find something that works, but I'm glad I did find this one.

I got this intentionally because it didn't have a clock setting function, nor a screen, but I wanted to not have to set it every day. Unfortunately, due to my own decision to buy it, I tried to use this for my indoor christmas tree and it did not perform the way I expected. You would think with it set to the dawn/dusk function, the light sensor would detect the light from the tree lights (which would be unfortunate for my situation), let alone from the nearby window (which is what I was hoping), yet the lights remained on all night (which is good and to be expected), but also the whole next day (not what I wanted). So either my sensor doesn't work, or doesn't work to the extent that I wish it would. This is all my fault though, which is why I'm not expecting a refund and am too lazy to return it. I will just give it to my parents and perhaps they'd need it for an outdoor setup and pray that the sensor functions as advertised. No manual came with the surge either. I just wanted to leave a review so that anyone about to buy this for indoor christmas tree lights will look for other options. Sorry Phillips, you are a solid brand, which is another reason I made the purchase, but if you want me to change this to a 5 star review, please contact me regarding the sensor that I believe doesn't work as advertised, maybe it's broke... or give me my money back without me having to package, print a label, and spend gas money and waste time driving to the post office, since I don't have a standard mailbox.
