Meowy Janes Whole Silvervine Fruit- Dried Silvervine Gall Fruit- Actinidia Polygama - Cat Toy - Cat Treat

This was my first time trying silvervine, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from Maks, Tobias and Lana, my three feline friends. They’ve all been offered catnip before, of course, and while Maks and Lana really liked it, Tobias could take it or leave it... But they ALL loved these dried silvervine fruits! I put one fruit in front of each of them, then stepped back and watched. After carefully sniffing the fruits, Lana plopped down on top of hers as though she needed to consider it, but wanted to make sure nobody else took it while she was passing judgment. The two boys, meanwhile, started out gently pushing their fruits with their paws, and rapidly progressed to smacking the little brown balls all over the room like they were playing hockey! They would periodically throw themselves on top of the fruits and roll around, grabbing it with their front paws and kicking vigorously at it with their back legs. Then back to hockey... Lana finally picked her fruit up in her jaws, carried it into the next room, and proceeded to rub her face all over it, seeming to really enjoy herself. After about 20 minutes all three cats seemed to lose interest, and walked away. However, throughout the day they would all periodically return and pretty much go through the same behaviors as before. So... I would say the dried silvervine fruit was a hit! The carefully sealed package contained a generous number of the little fruits (which can be put back in the sealable bag and re-offered later...), and I will have no hesitation in ordering these again since my clowder of cats enjoyed them so much... a lot of furry pleasure for a reasonable price! Recommended!

My Cats absolutely love these.

The product is great! My cats don’t respond to catnip but they love the silvervine galls. Both instantly responded and have enjoyed them. I will say, the package is quite small and my cats could go through a pack this size in a couple of days.

First time buying these for my cats. They don't care about catnip, but love silvervine. I noticed my one cat absolutely loved the small gall fruit that came on a string attached to their stick chew toy (she basically ate it off the toy), so I thought why not try getting whole ones that my cats could enjoy? Packaging: Great! The baggie was full and I did not see any broken pieces or bits. Just all whole gall fruits. Gall fruits: There's a lot in the package! And these things are huge (compared to the small pieces I've seen on my cats' chew toys). Probably about the size of a US quarter coin in diameter, each. I'm including a pic of the package next to a Churu for comparison. Cat reaction: My cat became very excited and could not wait for me to pull a gall fruit out of the package. As soon as I put it on the floor for her, she began batting it around and playing with it. I didn't want her to lose it (and I didn't want to lose track of it), so I put it in an empty box and she immediately jumped into the box and began tossing it and rolling around, with pauses for happy licking/grooming. She's now fallen asleep in the box with the gall fruit.

The quality of this Silvervine fruit is great. The odor is very strong and potent which makes the effect kick in almost immediately for my two cats who before have expressed no interest in catnip. The size of the fruit can vary from smaller pieces to pieces around 1in in diameter. However over the years this product has steadily increased in price… closing in on a 53% increase from when I first purchased this product. While I love to support small businesses this increase in price has not come with any improvements in quality or quantity to justify the price increases. Now that the product is almost $20 this will be my last purchase of the product until prices lower to where they were originally.

Context: According to Amazon I bought this 11 September 2022. Today is 3 July 2026. I bought these for my last cat, who loved them. He apparently got one stuck under the bed. Now I have two new cats, who found it the other day. They have been playing with it just like he did! Still just as potent outside the bag for nearly 4 whole years. 10/10 gonna have to purchase again because I didn't realize they kept the potency this long and had tossed the old bag away. Whooooops!

Great just monitor your cats with them to prevent choking. I prefer to hold onto these balls while my cat rubs on them because he wants to eat them. It’s great for stimulation just beware that you have to be present anytime one of these is out. My cat that doesn’t react to catnip or silver vine reacts to this! They are durable my cat has tried chewing on them a number of times but nothing has broke.

I got these for my cats for Christmas. Honestly, I'm not impressed, and the cats aren't either. They absolutely LOVE the silvervine sticks and other products, but these don't really seem to interest them. On top of that, I'm questioning my choices as to why I bought these in the first place because now whenever I see one laying on the floor, at first glance I find myself questioning if it's a silvervine fruit, or stray cat poop that made it out of the litter box. Also not super fun to step on. The rest of them are going in the trash, so I wouldn't recommend these.

Cats love this, though costly they love these fruits alot and play with them atleast for few hours. I keep it back in the bag to maintain smell but keep that in mind
