Crispy Grass-Fed Beef Jerky

A few months ago I traveled to Hawaii for the first time and fell in love with the crispy jerky; I have been searching for a brand I have easy access to here on the East Coast of the US. I loved the crispy texture of this plus the high protein, low sodium and low sugar content of this jerky. The taste was slightly off to my liking; I would describe it as “grassy”. I normally enjoy the taste of the herbs and garlic used to season this but they seem to overwhelm the taste of the beef.P.S. Where is this made…..I see the location of the company but not the origin of the beef or place of production.

This is coming from someone who has never delve into the beef jerky world but i like the clean ingredients and the crispness of it. I even like the idea of having multiple smaller bags for convenience of throwing into my work bag. Will definitely be my go to. Hope it never changesUpdate Very unhappy! 03/15/2020so as much as I love the product, I was ripped off reordering a second time. I paid $10 for (4) 1oz. Packs the first time I ordered a week ago. Today I received my order in which I ordered 2-4pks for $20 and only received 2-1oz pks. I am Highly disappointed because this company was deceptive. I went back to where I ordered it last week in my account and just clicked order again and all information was the same, I just ordered more to take to work. I need either a credit of $10 or I need my 6-1oz pks delivered. I hope the company does the right thing. I told other others about this product but will also let them know about this transaction. It’s nice for busy nurses to have this at their disposal when busy and can’t eat a meal but will not be taken advantage of!

This may not have been the first time that I have indulged in the greatness that comes from the power team at Bovino, but it certainly was the most impressive batch. Even in their infancy, Bovino had a great ratio of spices and quality cut of meat you can't get anywhere else in the area. It seems perfected and I am so happy to be a customer. I have even gone as far as to pick this up in-person during my business trips in California. I am amazed by how thin, crisp, and fresh everything is in the professionally made and packaged containers. I have to hide it from myself if I buy more than one bag because I know I will just make this into a meal. In fact, I've added some strips into my multi-meat cooking for flavor and zing with no disappointment. This is Italy meets West Coast meets Jerkey, meets my mouth! Whoever came up with this is way better than me! Will always return!

Crispy beef jerky is genius!! Fabulous travel food for keto/paleo/diabetic. BEWARE: ITEM IS NOT RETURN ELIGIBLE.Bovino’s product is too heavy-handed with their spice mix, though. Their recipe includes black pepper, cayenne, oregano, marjoram and rosemary — all pungent flavors. I hope they’ll dial it down, go with just basil + garlic or go ginger + lemongrass...I will come back to Bovino’s Crispy Beef Jerky for sure when the flavor profile is better developed.

It tastes like you are eating right out of the cow pasture. The taste is vomit inducing

Great jerky. Shipped quickly too. I would give 4 stars but the bags are just so small. I know overhead costs and production costs and profit are important here but the bags are so tiny for the price. Good jerky though.

Its definitely unique ain't for me though. Kinda like a burnt pepperoni/sausage, but with a mix of soy.
