Japanese Sewing Clamp Kakehari Third Hand Apparel and Tailoring Aids

When you're ripping out a seam, you need one hand for the seam ripper, a second had for the left side of the seam and a third hand for the right side. This is your third hand.

EVERY sewing should have at least 2 of this with the clamp. Excellent help in sewing.

I bought this to try out that one japanese hand sewing technique but I use it whenever I need an extra hand. Mostly when seam ripping! Also good for braiding cords together and it helped when I was detangling some strings.

I was making my first ever quilt and saw this and thought this might help this newbie out. It sure works. I didn’t use it for the entire quilt but it does work and I couldn’t find the clamp that goes with this Clover brand so I ended up buying a lightweight plastic and metal C clamp for the table. Once I got the right length from the third hand and my fabric, things got going smoothly and adjusted position of fabric as needed.

いつも店頭購入で初めて購入しました。引っ張ったりするのでとても使いやすいです。ただ使ってるうちに真ん中のバネが折れてしまうので半年も持たないのでもう少しバネ部分が長持ちできないかなと思いました。
