I did meet some problem in start my second hand 2004 camry,so I have a lead acid jump starter with me,it did work,but problem is size and weight,it is too heavy.So I try to search some new technology.After recommendation by a friend,I bought this Roypow Lithium jump starter. It is very portable and quite good appearance,fashionable.You can keep it in your car glove box , your pocket or backpack. It is really easy to operate on many portable devices, such as iphone, iPad.ANd I really like the design of LED light and compass, which will be very useful for camping! BTW, the LED light can also flash~After fully charged,I started to try the jump starter on my car.Oh,my superman,it did work! It started my old car in seconds! It is really incredible considering its small body! Thanks to the new technology and this smart device.I will take it on my trip to Yellowstone Park this June and hopefully it will not be used...hahRegards,

I've only used it to charge the dead battery on my PT Cruiser so far, but the product works as advertised. It charges relatively quickly (it arrived with 2 of 4 level lights lit but charged to full via my PC's USB port in less than an hour) and was able to power my car twice without recharge within 10 minutes (it started my car immediately but the engine cut out within 10 minutes, which was not enough time to recharge its battery requiring another jump from the RoyPow). I suspect the RoyPow would easily would have had another jump or two available without recharge if necessary, as after the second jump the RoyPow battery level was at 3 out of 4 lights.Pictures don't do justice to how light and small this unit is. You can easily store it practically anywhere in your car. The included LED flashlight is also a nice touch, not to mention its three operating modes (steady light, slow blink, strobe).I suspect the RoyPow will prove to be one of my better auto accessory investments, and its ability to also charge portable electronics should prove useful.My next RoyPow-related purchase will be the car lighter adapter for a charge source. I wonder if it could be charged via portable solar panels...?Highly recommended product!

This is a great gadget that does an excellent job of powering and charging your other gadgets in addition to being able to jump start your car! There are quite a few of these personal battery packs available and after combing through I ended up with this Roypow for a few reasons. The unit is small, light, and both USB ports are 2.1 where some still offer a 1.0/2.1 config.However, the primary reason being that it is capable of charging from USB versus many units that can only be charged from a typical wall outlet. I use this on my dual sport bike to run/charge my phone/GPS/bluetooth device and if the Poypow needs to be charged, I can plug in into the USB plug I have on the bike.It's light, small, charges with USB, jump starts your car, both ports are 2.1, has a flashlight and a compass. I'm putting one in all of our vehicles.

This backup battery is awesome. There are three reasons for me in purchasing this product: weight, simplicity of use, and how it charge.Compared to my old portable jumper, this product is one tenth of the size and weight. You can put in your pocket! So, this would be great for all you outdoorsman and nice people, helping others or family. I am able to put this within reach such as your glove box, middle console, or on your door panel pocket and not in the trunk like my old one. I find my self grabbing it constantly on the go from my car when I need to charge my phone or other portable devices. No need to sit in the car until you have enough juice in your device. I'm juicing up my phone right now at the mechanic as I write this review.For the simplicity, you don't have your significant others crossing wires when they use the portable power supply. One button to rule them all.... Flashlight and starting the jump process. When charging your devices, it automatically turn the charger on for you.Lastly, the input is a mini USB. What devices don't use a mini USB (except for you Apple users). You can charge it off any USB port; wall charger with USB port (you can use Apple wall charger, ha-ha) any computers (laptops and desktops plus computer screens), cigarette plug with built-in USB port or any new cars with USB port, and lastly, my main reason for getting this product, I can charge it off my compact portable solar panels from any where in the world where sun shines.Buy it and you can reduce the extra bageges and makes yourself look smart in front of others. Beware... Others may laugh at the size of your portable device until you jump there car or need some juice for there devices. Last laugh is always the best!X

So much better than those huge, bulky battery boosters I kept in my trunk for years. This is small, easy to fit in the glove box. The cold weather, and the short driving distance isn't enough to recharge my battery, and this thing saved me 4 times already. It's been fully charged once and still has lots more juice left according to the meter. I feel at ease. I'm purchasing the case for it because i want this investment last as long as possible. It really is a must-have gadget. -single lady here.

I hope I don't have to ever use it to jump a car, but that ability is there. I did use it the way I intended which is charging up a cell phone. It does ok with that. It does not have the same capacity as the older heavy style ones, but it worked fine charging the phone a couple times, before it needed a recharge.It is very light and and much smaller than what it replaced. Since I use it on a motorcycle it does what I need and the size is very important.

I haven't had a chance to use the jump start function of the battery, but overall it seems to be a quality product. The housing seems pretty sturdy and somewhat rugged. The LED light is bright and has three modes; always on, strobe, and SOS, will definitely come in handy. If it has the power to jump start a 4.0L engine then I should be able to get a couple of charges on my cell phone from it, too.If I ever do have to use the jump start function I will update this review.
