Eastman 1-1/2 Inch No-Hub Coupling with Stainless Steel Clamps, 43401, Silver

These items are primary used on PVC water and sewer lines. However, they can be used on metal water lines. Life span may be 10 or twenty years --since they are fabricated from SS and a good quality of rubber/plastic seals. An easy method of making a joint between "rigid" pipes! (Example--a sewer line buried 43 inches deep)

This was used to connect a mesh screen https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BW2VWG0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1to the terminus of a 3” PVC drain pipe the takes runoff into the desert. Was easy to install and offers protection of the rubber gasket from critters who may find it tasty.

Seems decent ,deceptive picture no rubber coupling included. I should have paid closer attention to description

I can't really say if this works or not as I bought the wrong size. It's too inexpensive to return, not worth that hassle. It looks like a sturdy solid piece that will work. But I cannot say for sure as I did not use it.

Item arrived incomplete, it was represented with rubber insert in pictures and had none.

Both couplings are missing the rubber inner sleeve/gasket which makes these worthless to make a water tight connection. Not worth the aggravation to go through the trouble to return them. Into the trash they go.
