Bauerfeind - GenuTrain - Knee Brace - Targeted Support for Pain Relief and Stabilization of The Knee, Provides Relief of Weak, Swollen, and Injured Knees- Size 4 - Color Black

I’ve tried drugstore sleeves and basic elastic wraps, but the GenuTrain is in a different league. Right out of the box, you can feel the quality – the knit is soft yet firm, and the integrated silicone massage pad sits perfectly around my kneecap. What I love most: it doesn’t slip. Even during light jogging or squats, the non-slip grippers keep it in place. The anatomical fit (left/right specific) makes a real difference – no bunching behind the knee. It provides noticeable compression that reduces my mild patellar tendon soreness without restricting movement. Also breathable enough for all-day wear under jeans. Downsides? The price is steep (around $70–90). And if you have larger thighs, measure carefully – sizing runs snug. The pad can feel a bit bulky at first, but you get used to it. Also, hand-washing is a must; machine washing will wreck it. Overall, worth every penny if you have chronic knee issues or want solid support for sports. Not a miracle cure for serious injuries, but for stability and pain relief during daily activities, it’s excellent.

I needed something to stabilize my knee after an old ACL surgery started to flare up. I bought a few different stabilizing sleeves and this one is by far the most comfortable, breathable, and provides the most pain relief. The sizing is more nuanced, so you gotta get it right, but once you do it stays in place without the need of tight bands or skin irritating silicon like the others. I initially ordered three different sizes before landing on size 4. The knee donut has nubs that do something beneficial and I can tell a difference. My second pic shows the Bauerfeind GenuTrain next to the NEENCA which doesn’t have the nubs and uses silicon banding to hold it up. It’s more expensive but I can wear it all day, so for me it’s worth it. It takes awhile to air dry fully, though, so not great for working out. I got the sports version from Bauerfeind and while not as comfortable, dries much quicker.

Best knee support out there. Flexible sides do not dig into your skin or joint. They provide syringe, flexible support and pain relief. Expensive but well worth it!

If you're like me you probably tried every version of an CHEAP knee brace you could find. You've tried: - the weird off brand cheap knee brace you saw at CVS/Walgreens when you went in there really just to grab a bag of Cheetos - the name brand but not really a name brand knee sleeve at target next to the chapstick you actually went there for - a legitimate neoprene sports type knee sleeve that works great but doesn't breath at all, makes your leg sweat, and more importantly starts to smell real funky after a while - the bionic knee sleeve with all sorts of weird metal parts that you thought would help but end up just being really awkward and bulky I think you get the point. As someone who has semi-regular knee pain from an old injury that actually required surgery when I was doing my research Bauerfeind kept showing up on a regular basis. When I saw the price I was fortunate to have a few ziplock bags in my cabinet and some free ninety nine ice in my freezer and decided to go that route instead. With that said eventually I decided I needed to give these a try and luckily I had a few $$$ in my HSA/FSA account to cover the purchase of a GenuTrain knee brain. 10/10. Straight up. This is the only knee brace I've worn that I feel like actually HELPS. It's incredibly comfortable. It doesn't slip or ride up or down. It's decently breathable unless you engage in moderate physical activity. Most importantly my knee ACTUALLY FEELS BETTER when I am wearing this. I don't know what sort of black magic is impregnated in this sleeve and I don't care lol. Obviously do your due diligence and get the sizing correct. I actually emailed Bauerfeind's customer service and they got back to me very quickly so don't be afraid to reach out. This brace is so good I bought another one because I didn't want to wear the first one out too quickly and be left without one. Based off my personal experience I have recommended this knee sleeve to multiple people with knee issues. It just works and when you consider all the cheaper alternatives you'll buy before you finally settle on this one it will probably be about the same $$$. 10/10 Would recommend and have already bought again.

Like the line Indiana Jones says in Raiders of the Lost Ark,”It's not the years, honey, it's the mileage.” And after 55 very active years incorporating a lot of wear and tear, I’ve put a lot of mileage on my knees. Pro tip: don’t let a large breed, strong dog pull you on leash when you’re walking it downhill. The steeper the slope, the more damage you’ll do to your knees. Learn to walk such dogs properly, using tactical leashes, collars and harnesses such as they use in the military and police K9. Anyway, years of that type malfeasance are just part of my knees’ mileage. I’ve used several Bauerfeind knee supports starting about 9 years ago. These Genutrains I like best. They’re medical grade and can be worn literally all day. They’re so comfortable and provide great support no matter what you’re doing, for both preventative and inflammation amelioration purposes. I like them better than the Bauerfeind sport performance knee supports as those have strips on the upper insides to help keep the supports in place. But in my opinion, because of those, they’re not meant to be worn for more than the duration of a typical sports game as wearing them for too long gave me blisters where those strips are. No such problem with the Genutrains and they stay in place, seamlessly, all day, throughout different sometimes very demanding activities. Absolutely love them. I think they’re great value as in the past I tried other brands and was always dissatisfied.

I’ve been using the Bauerfeind GenuTrain knee brace for a few months now, and overall, I’m very impressed. The build quality is top-notch—it feels durable, well-constructed, and far superior to cheaper braces I’ve tried. The fabric is breathable yet supportive, and the compression it provides has really helped with my knee stability during workouts and long walks. Considering the premium materials and medical-grade support, I actually think the price is fair. It’s an investment, but one that pays off in comfort and function, especially if you’re dealing with chronic knee issues or recovering from an injury. That said, the only drawback I’ve experienced is that it does slip down occasionally, especially during more active movement. For a brace in this price range, I would love to see Bauerfeind come up with a better anti-slip solution—maybe silicone grips or adjustable straps. Still, despite that one issue, I’d absolutely recommend it. It’s one of the best braces I’ve used, and I feel much more confident and supported when I have it on. With a small design tweak, it would be perfect.

I have loose ligaments in my legs and need extra stability for my knee cap. Most braces or stabilizers I have tried are uncofortabke and fit awkwardly. NOT THIS ONE! It's extremely comfortable, sits perfectly around my knee and offers SO much support! Bonus its easy to checkout with HSA card.

I have many other Bauerfeind sleeves and from other brands as well and have been wearing them for years. I had expected this particular sleeve to perform like the others I have from Bauerfeind. It does not. They chose to not weave any gripping into the top 1.5 inches of the sleeve and it does slide down especially when I’m strength training. When it slides it no longer supports the patella. I used the correct measurements. I can wear my others all day with very little to no slippage. It is comfortable when it’s in place. I included pics of one of my other sleeves by , Thuasne that has the gripping woven in. This is a miss from Bauerfeind, IMO.

Great support for many different knee problems, very comfortable and you can wear it all day if needed due to the well ventilated fabric. You don’t have to worry about rashes that you can get after extended use of neoprene supports.

use it everyday at work and at home, keeps my knee more stable ,post surgery.
