If you mess up your placement and have to pull the tape off, you cannot reuse them. The tape leaves a film on the skin that must be removed with makeup remover. Don't forget to clean with alcohol before applying or they won't stick. Don't get them tangled in your hair or you'll need somebody to help. The little attachment hook that connects two pieces together is not foolproof. So don't try moving the bands once they're in place. I made extra knots so the bigger knot would be more secure. Also I have a hairline that forces me to put the tape further out on the face. Maybe they could include a few smaller tapes for this. Instructions are fine. Installation is trial and error. Cheaper than facelift but when I take them off, it's like taking out your contacts or a bun you've had pinned on top of your head all day. I would not plan to use these if you work outside of your home. They would get very expensive I think.

I love this product and it does really achieve the desired look...however, there is something going on with the manufacturing lately. I have been using them daily for the past 7 months, and the first couple of packs I received were great and lasted from early morning until I took them off late at night. They never broke, and sometimes I could even get two days wear out of one. Now, each packet is a problem of one sort or another. A couple of months ago they were all breaking in the middle of the band, now they are breaking at the point where the band and the tape meet. This is now happening with every individual piece I use. Tape itself is great, band words too -- but it has to be secured better to the tape! Now I am getting only a few hours out of each piece before it breaks at that point, and while I want to continue using these, I can't afford to if I have to use several a day! Not to mention the embarrassment and inconvenience when your face drops right in the middle of a conversation with someone! Please get this manufacturing glitch corrected right away!

For what you are spending it works...it is somewhat uncomfortable and could have a better adhesive. You definitely need to have you hair down to cover this as anyone up close will notice. If the adhesive touches your hair first it's pretty much done from there...you absolutely must clean area first with alcohol and let it dry before applying this and makeup..this product is actually better for picture use not day to day- its cumbersome and needs to be readjusted and reapplied for a full day...but for the price I would say don't waste you money on this brand, pay a few extra bucks and get the "more popular" brand that has clear adhesives that actually stick better as advertised

I worry. Somehow, this item popped up in a search and I latched on to it - it is the perfect joke gift for an aging friend's birthday - is it not? I made my purchase knowing that Amazon has lists and algorithms of everything you buy, everything you look at, everything you put in your cart and don't buy - they know you. They have a profile of you. And then they gear items towards you when you log in to make you buy more. So they know me as a woman of a certain age who likes to scrapbook and do art projects. They know what colors of nailpolish I like, that I enjoy fake diamond jewelry. They know I'm suddenly buying baby toys, which I am sure they know means I have a grandbaby. They know my health history and the items I've purchased to deal with that. They know I prefer modern literature to mysteries, and they know I love new technology, getting the kindle instantly and having two Echos.But now, I worry - have I wrecked the profile I have created with my purchases by buying these secret lift tapes? Am I now going to be seeing all sorts of very weird, anti-aging technologies as I look through Amazon? This tape is now permanently it my "Buy it Again" section, and I can't get it out. I'll never buy it again, a good joke only works once. I worry that Amazon will now think this is the kind of thing I like to buy and I'll start seeing adult diapers, walkers, hair dye and all the other trappings of age as suggested for me. The Secret of these Secret Lift Tapes are that I didn't buy them for me. Will they know that? Have they realized I have purchased other joke gifts, such as the Lunch Lady Action Figure? Or do they take it straight?Yes, I worry. I worry my good friend Amazon has me wrong. Perhaps I should have kept one of these tapes for myself, the worry lines are getting deeper.

OK first of all your trying to correct years of living. You want a miracle? Pray. You want to correct some imperfections on your face and neck use these. Now even a plastic surgeon has to do drawings and marks on your face to figure your face and neck out and what steps need to be taken to make those corrections and so do you when it comes to these tapes. It's a trial and error but you will figure out where you need to apply these tapes regardless of which area tapes your purchasing. I use 2 on my neck and one to lift my eyes for ease of makeup application. In the winter tapes work great but I noticed now it's getting warm they will pop off but no need to worry. I use spirit gum and I'm confident tapes not going anywhere. In either case with or without the spirit gum you have to clean the area where tapes going to go with alcohol and I then clean the alcohol off and apply spirit gum, let it get tacky and then place the tape on it and press for a minute and I look 20 years younger. I buy these often for fear of running out. But you have to learn best places to apply tape for you and how to apply. And with the spirit gum you can get a few uses out of each tape. If you apply as I described you will be happy with your purchase and your results.
