Waited too long to buy one
I should have bought one sooner. I love my fixed blade knives, but there's just no comparison. These blades are ultra sharp. The bone saw rips through sternums like butter. I used it to field dress four deer this year, and the blades were still fine. I also like all the options of blades you can put on this thing. I feel like I can take my time, make precise cuts and do the job correctly. Great tool for the job.I did buy the green one (didn't want to pay $20 more for red/orange). So that's my only complaint....level out the price on the high viz version or get rid of the green option (really why even sell green?).

This style of knife is the future of hunting knives. I won't have to stop and sharpen mid task again!
This is mostly a preliminary review and I will come back and update once we get into hunting season.First impression: IT'S HUGE!!! Having used a few dozen different knives in the field both folders and fixed blades it was stunned at how big this thing was. I will try to attach a picture for reference. After my initial shock of the size wore off the knife felt well balanced and well made. It was obviously sharper than just about anything you have ever had in your pocket and the blades are true scalpel blades. I am really looking forward to going afield this year and will hopefully have some operational opinions to share with you so be sure to check back in the future!

QUALITY KNIFE
I LIKE THE VERSITALITY OF THIS KNIFE. IT CAN BE A BONE SAW TOO. IF ANYTHING GET DULL JUST SWAP IT OUT. NICE SHARP KNIFE WHEN YOU NEED IT. GREAT QUALITY. BLADES AND SAWS READILY AVAILABLE.

Great bone saw!
This bone saw works great! I used it on 2 white tails this weekend both the pelvis and the sternum and there is still plenty of blade life left.Update. I have now used the bone saw on 4 white tails and it's still going strong.

Sturdy, well made, just right.
Very sturdy and well made. I was concerned that the saw blade would not be up to the task of removing elk legs and similar but it is much more sturdy that it appears in the pictures. I've used the Paranta blades before and they are excellent for skinning, caping and such. The Barracuda side which is the saw blade end of the knife is much thicker and sturdy. It comes with a nice case and organized storage of extra blades. It is a little larger and heavier than I was expecting but it is just right for the tasks I have in mind.

Very Nice
Good looking knife and very functional. Great for hunting and fishing. Plus the bonus for me was the fact that it came with a zippered case and a bunch of extra Piranta and Baracutta blades. Can’t wait to use it more.
