I love these. I have 3c/4a hair. Natural my hair is about 5 or so inches below my shoulders, straightened it’s about 2 inches above my butt. So basically, a lot of hair. Using regular hair ties no matter curly or straightened is a hassle. Curly I can never get it secure enough (I have broken many a hair tie just trying to get it secure in a ponytail) or when straight I top of my head ends up randomly bumpy somewhere ruining the sleek ponytail look.With these, I was able to say goodbye to all of that. No matter curly or straight, these help me get the perfect ponytail without pulling my hair out in the process. Definitely plan to stock up on more. My only issue is they only come 3 in a pack.

I have broken more supposedly extra large, heavy duty ponytail holders trying to get them to hold my thick natural hair than I’d care to admit. And because my hair is also long (mid-back), trying to get it into a standard hair band was pure torture. So when I came across Swirly Curly, I was ecstatic! I’ve only been using them occasionally for a few weeks, but I’m very pleased so far. Creating a smooth ponytail that’s held firmly is literally a snap. (See what I did there?? Cuz it’s held together with a snap.) I can hold my hair right where I want it while wrapping the Swirly Curly around my ponytail with the other. And the velvet covered band is gentler on my hair.They’re not cheap, but so far they’ve been well worth it.

A quick and easy way to put on a scrunchie without having to shove all your hair into a small scrunchie or risk pulling out hair when removing it. It is durable enough to deal with all of my workouts and it’s washable. Just what I was looking for.

I have really long locs and I wear my hair up all the time, even when I sleep. I was tired of using items to keep my locs up in a bun that were not comfortable. I do not pull my hair back tight so I still have all my hairline edges. This item has been a blessing to own because it can be adjusted by clicking two or more together to hold my long hair up in place. I can also use just one to hold my hair in a long straight ponytail to air-dry my hair after washing it. No I do not use a hair dryer,... that is damaging to my locs.Thank you for offering items from a black-owned company regarding OUR hair. :-)

It took some time to receive these in the mail. Not sure why but reported to the seller. I am giving 5 stars based on the product because these scrunchies do work. I did a major chop about 8 months ago and now my hair is long enough to put up in a poof. But I have thick 4C natural hair that does not like to stay put. These scrunchies are easy to snap together for a small hair tie to a larger headband. I snap together two and slide up on my hair to make a nice poof. It is a quick protective style for my hair when I am on the go. I plan trying other products by Swirly Curly in the near future.

I still really like these because they’re cute, but I bought them to simplify my updo/puffs. I have 3c / 4a hair and no matter whether I use one or two snapped together, it’s just too loose and unflattering. So I ultimately went back to using cheap skinny headbands to do my poufs. Now I use these for buns, which I could use any scrunchie for.

I have 4c hair and two of these scrunchies are required to be snapped together in order to create a high puff. Overpriced, there are better options available.
