Authentic Acoustic Flexible Core

These strings are AMAZING!! I stopped playing my acoustic guitar and was only playing electric. When I tried to go back to play the acoustic I had last my strength for barre chords and the guitar felt difficult to play, as though it was a fight. I even took it to a luthier. Had it set up and new strings but I hated it and wanted to sell it. I saw a review online about these strings and I thought that I would try it out. I've put them on today and I am really amazed and have been playing my acoustic all afternoon and no fatigue. Fretting feels easy and the sound is very sweet and dynamic. The feel is great and I am so happy!!

Martin strings are always great quality. I have recently changed from 13 gauge to 11 gauge and this has meant I am able to play every day without damaging my fingers. 11 gauge are kinder on your 'chord' fingers and your 'picking' nails. Although 11's don't boom quite as much as the 13's the sound is still great. Thanks.

I recently bought the Martin authentic (MA540) strings and felt they didn't sound right, too tinny for my likening so i read a few reviews regarding these (MA130FX’s) and a quick google revealed Tommy Emmanuel uses them, i’m a big fan of his, he uses the 12’s these are 11’s but the sound these strings produce are rich, warm, loud and so much better than the ones i had originally, i’d definitely recommend these for your Martin or whatever acoustic you own they’ll make your guitar sound so much better.

Saw these being recommended by Tommy Emmanuel and thought “hmm” must be worth a try, what a revelation they are so easy to fret and very comfortable, I play mostly electric and always found acoustic fatiguing but not any more. I can play for hours now, my fingers love these strings. I just wish I had discovered them before now.

Nice strings, good sound, but I haven't noticed any improvement in the flexibility. Cost is comparable with other similar packages.

These strings are excellent, especially for beginners. They reduce the fatigue on you fingers and allow you play for a lot longer - highly recommended. I can’t comment on the longevity at the moment, only time will tell.

Great strings, very easy on my hands and fingers. I bought these because they were recommended to me as I have arthritis in my left thumb. They have made playing the guitar easier, reducing left thumb pressure on neck. However they can be a bit squeaky.

Le ho prese inizialmente per la chitarra Eko di mia figlia, 13 anni, che già suona ma con corde bronzo regolari fa un po' fatica. Ora le ho prese anche per la mia Cort. Sono esteticamente molto belle e ben fatte. Il suono è pieno e ha profondità ed effettivamente sono molto più flessibili al bending. Creano meno tensione senza però perdere volume o tonalità. Non sono morbide come le silk and steel Le silk and steel hanno una morbidezza estrema e un touch confortevole ma che testituiscono anche un suono molto dolce (mellow) e sono di colore argento invece che ambrato. Non credo ci sia paragone con le silk and steel in tema di morbidezza, ma hanno certamente una buona suonabilità rispetto alle bronzo "normali". Se si viene da corde con maggiore tensione, sarà necessario regolare il truss rod per dare relief al manico. Operazione facile, basta inserire la chiave nell'innesto dentro la buca e fare 1/4 o 1/2 giro antiorario, ed eventualmente ripetere l'operazione il giorno dopo se non basta. Il manico è di legno e ha bisogno di alcune ore per assestarsi all trazione del truss rod. Quindi veritieri i dati dichiarati sulla tensione. Quindi, ottime per allentare la tensione sul manico e suonare più facilmente la chitarra, anche se rappresentano comunque una soluzione intermedia tra le bronzo e le silk and steel.
