Well built, excellent typing feel
TL/DR: I have taken this thing around the world for the past year and it has held up spectacularly. The flexibility makes it easy to instantly convert to a tablet / typing stand, which is perfect for use on a cramped airline tray. The case is extremely durable and easily handles getting jostled around in my day bag. If I needed to buy another case right now, it would be another one of these, hands down. This is the case you're looking for.My iPad 9th gen fits snugly into the top part of the case. It's absolutely never going to pop out on its own. Getting it in (or out) requires about 30 seconds of patience. The case feels sturdy, and the ability to reverse the keyboard / use it as a tablet stand has come in more handy than I imagined. The keyboard has that "slim keyboard" feel. It's perfectly fine for short emails or posting to social media. I shoot a lot of documentaries, and this has been a lifesaver for typing up notes. Key accuracy is excellent, but once in a blue moon it will miss a key when I'm typing in a long block of text. Given the occasional (very rare) miss and the "slim keyboard" feel, I wouldn't want to use this to bang out a full-length novel, but it's more than enough for typical daily use.The keyboard backlighting is excellent. Unlike some of the cheaper cases out there, this one doesn't blind you with full-intensity ultra-bright neon colors -- a HUGE deal in a darkened aircraft or when using this at night. Of the four brightness settings, #4 is excellent for daytime use and #1 is almost too dim, so they're spaced out really well. At first I thought the color selection was gimmicky, but it turns out that using red at night really helps in a dark environment.Battery life is adequate. Not amazing, but more than enough to get me through the day.The only thing I want to point out as possible negative -- and I'm not docking a point for this -- is the appearance. This is a hard plastic case, and it looks the part. I couldn't really tell from the photos but when it arrived, there's no mistaking this for a high-end case. If you're looking for a luxurious, fashionable cover for your iPad, look elsewhere. This is built to keep life's scratches and nicks away from your iPad, and it doesn't try to look "cute" or "trendy". It's perfectly fine for my needs (those "trendy" cases look really bad once they get a few scratches in them), so if you favor durability over fashion, this is your case.

Best case I've ever purchased!
I love this case! It's very well constructed. It was so easy to put my iPad in it. The keyboard is wonderful. The backlighting makes it so easy see the characters clearly. The multiplicity of positions makes it so accommodating no matter what I'm doing at the moment. This is a great product!

The best case I've seen so far, recommended
A product that has made things easier for me, I like it a lot, I would buy it again. A tablet with this case becomes a very comfortable laptop to take on the street, it is movable everywhere, one of the best purchases I made.

one big con (some picky ones) - otherwise perfect
I love this case. 4/5 & I wish it was 5/5!What do I use this for?:I use it for personal use and for college as I take all my notes on my iPad.Pros & Cons: (biggest con at the bottom of this review)- I got my case delivered on 01/26 (today is 02/08), charged it for 4 hours before using it, and I haven’t needed to charge it again (13 days). I have used it between 2-16 hours intermittently during the last 2 weeks and it remains off on the weekends. I also turn it off after each use. So far the small light that shows the battery level has remained blue.- The keyboard uses a type C charger and comes with cord, but does not come with the wall plug. So if you don’t have a free usb wall charger you will need to order/buy one.- Connecting my keyboard to my iPad via Bluetooth was really easy, I just looked at the instructions that came with the case so I would know the name of the case, then I powered on the keyboard and found it. The total process of connecting took me maybe 2 minutes. After that it only takes a few seconds to automatically connect each time I turn on the keyboard.- Turning on the keyboard is a small toggle on the side of the keyboard. I think the toggle is better than a button because the toggle is the only thing on the side of the keyboard that sticks out, making it easier to find and use if you have large hands, poor vision or dexterity issues.- I like being able to choose a color to light up my keyboard and the brightness level of my keyboard. I can also choose to turn the background light of the keyboard off altogether. I also like that it stays the color I chose even after I’ve turned it off and on again. The keyboard lights turn on or flash for a moment when you turn on the keyboard to show that it’s on, but then the lights turn off again, so I have to hit the light button once to get them to stay on.- While the keyboard is smaller in width than a traditional keyboard , I feel like they make up for it in the size of the keys.- Some normal keyboard shortcuts like Control C and Control V for copying and pasting don’t work on this keyboard. I don’t know if it’s a keyboard flaw or an iPad flaw. But you’ll want to test out any keyboard shortcuts you use frequently to find out if they work or not.- The touch mousepad on the keyboard is a little stiff to push, and you really have to go all the way to the side in order to left or right click.- The mouse curser on the keyboard appears on the iPad screen is a small grey dot, and it disappears when you hover the cursor over the app icon you’re trying to open while app icon increases in size. It wasn’t very noticeable the first few times I used it, and the background of your of iPad will affect the ability to se the cursor. I don’t know if there is a way to make the size of the cursor bigger.- I personally like the stiffness of the case when you open, close and turn it from left to right. It gives me a feeling of security that it’s not just gonna break off when I open or turn it. It also holds open where I place it without closing on me when I move around. However, the stiffness can be a little intimidating at first, because you feel like you might break it. You can turn it left or right to turn the screen all the way around.- When the keyboard is closed, or if you have the case flipped completely to use your iPad flat, the top portion can shift left and right against the bottom of the case, so I wish there was a way to secure it when it’s closed. However the movement left and right is pretty minimal.- I like the thickness of the case. It both feels and looks thick enough on top on bottom to protect the iPad and keyboard. The iPad fits exactly into the slot, but there is very little room on the top and sides of the case surrounding the iPad. To me it’s a sacrifice to make the case smaller, but I wish it was a bit wider on the top and sides to better protect the tablet from a side drop.- The small teeth at the top of the case that hold your iPad into the case so it doesn’t fall out look very weak, and they aren’t very wide or thick. Aesthetically, it’s very pleasing because it doesn’t cover the iPad and leaves it looking like it’s uncovered as the teeth hold on the small groves indented near the edges of an iPad. As long as you don’t take the iPad out very often (I haven’t taken it out since putting it in), I don’t think the teeth are of great risk of breaking, and so far they’ve held my iPad inside the case without issues.- The outer design is simple on both top and bottom making both sides almost identical. If you weren’t paying attention, you would easily miss the small differences that make up the bottom and the top of the case or which way it opens. I like its minimalist design, but if you have vision issues I recommend placing a sticker on the top so you know which way up to place and which side it opens on.- The size of the case is the a little more thick than the thickness of your iPad, so when the case is closed, it’s about the thickness of what two iPads on top of one another would be like. This makes it easy to put in your backpack or even in a purse.- The ventilation for the iPad is great and it leaves enough room to easily fit your iPad charger in without having to fight it. Also the open areas around the buttons, headphone jack and camera of the iPad are large enough that they are easy to access and use.- Opening the keyboard can be a little difficult. Because the case is on the stiffer side it can make opening the keyboard one handed very difficult. Also, while there are small teeth and a small indent on the bottom keyboard side of the case meant for you to be able to open the case. It’s very small and if you have dexterity issues or just large hands, you might end up needing to use both hands to find the edges of the keyboard so you can open it.- The bottom of the case has small rubber guards in each corner to prevent the keyboard from sliding all over the surface of wherever you’re using your keyboard. I have noticed that because the rubber guards are on the small side, if you use it on your lap while sitting in a chair they don’t hold well, so the keyboard will slide around a bit, so a flat surface is better for use.BIGGEST CON:My biggest con for this case and keyboard is the Apple Pencil placement. It’s location on the case feels like they overlooked or forgot about Apple Pencils. The small loop on the side of the case is an almost leather like material and only about an inch in width. So far, the material has been sturdy and stayed connected to the case while it holds my Apple Pencil in place. The loop is just tight enough on my pencil with out it sliding out unless pushed or pulled, but not so tight that getting the pencil in and out of the loop is a hassle.Because of the placement of the pencil, I worry about losing my pencil or the small cover piece that goes over the charger at the back of my pencil. When I put the case into my backpack, I store it so the pencil is on the top of my bag so it’s not rubbing around at the bottom of my bag, or getting stuck/crushed under books/textbooks.There is also no where to put the small cover that goes on the back of my pencil while I charge it. So when I charge my pencil I have to keep an eye on the small piece. I did find that the top of the keyboard near the brightness buttons is magnetic, so when I charge my pencil I keep the case open and place the cover piece of my pencil on the keyboard so it doesn’t roll away.If I could redesign the case, I would make it either longer or wider, and make the keyboard part of the case thicker to create a space for the pencil to click into the case while the case is closed, and a spot for the charger cover piece to go while I charge my pencil.

Perfect
Excellent case with keyboard, light and functional. It fits perfectly to the 9th generation iPad, providing protection without adding unnecessary volume. The keyboard is comfortable and responds very well to touch, ideal for working, studying or writing long emails. In addition, the slim design makes it very easy to carry. A great option for those looking for practicality and style in a single product!

Buyer's Delight-
I LOVE this iPad case! The keyboard feels nice and is extremely responsive. The lighting is adjustable, not too bright, and makes me feel extra fancy. The case is a great fit for my 10" tablet, easy to use, and absolutely worth the price tag. I use my iPad as a reference tool for D&D, and this case makes my DM life so much easier! Forget buying another laptop and just convert your iPad with this case! I bought the black case and spruced it up with meme stickers. :3
