Compromise of build quality

I was looking for a nespresso capsule storage tray to hold 50 capsules and choose this over the similarly priced amazonbasics tray.It seems the trade of is between style and build quality. This is a little bit more interesting than the usual black square box tray design but it is built quite cheaply. The self assembly package contains the two wooden side panels, a glass top, 4 metal tubes and a capsule tray made of plastic. The tray seems to only be one step up from the quality of the plastic tray in a chocolate box. It's noticably flimsy and only loosely held in the metal frame. I assume this is so that different trays can be inserted for various capsule types. On mine, it's a noticably bad fit.The capsule drawer runs through a groove cut in the wooden side panels without any further sliding mechanism. This means it's not a smooth opening / closing action. If you have nothing on top of the unit weighing it down, you may need to hold it with one hand whilst you open the drawer to stop it moving.It works functionally and it looks ok. As a sub £20 product it's not bad but it could be a lot better. Perfectionists would be very unhappy.

Great little pod storage drawer
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. So I don’t know why this has some bad reviews because I think it’s great! I was worried it would be really flimsy but it’s not and my very heavy coffee machine sits comfortably on the glass top. The drawer doesn’t have runners but it slides in and out nicely. Yes the insert is thin but it’s not like I’m going to get it out and play with it. It does it’s job of holding nespresso pods neatly and it looks great. For the price I’m very happy as I looked for ages for pod storage that wasn’t vertical, black, too wide, plastic etc and this fits my needs perfectly. Delivered very fast and well packed.

Beautiful looking product
Almost didn't buy this product as there were no reviews of it! But I loved the look of it so decided to give it a go and I'm so glad I did! Arrived quickly and well packaged. My daughter (10yrs old) built it for me it was that easy! Looks amazing on the countertop too! Took one star off as although it's tempered glass so you can sit your machine on it, my cup did bounce slightly so you can't switch it on and walk away. Not a hassle for me though so I'm quite happy!

Good quality product.
I am very pleased with this product. The styling suits my taste, it has Scandinavian looks, and is very smart. The glass top supports my DeLonghi coffee machine with no bucking under the weight and the drawer slides in and out effortlessly. I thoroughly recommend this product.

A great buy
A perfect way to store the nespresso mnachine and pods.I didn't want a "tree" or basket type storage so opted for this.The quality is very good, the glass is, solid and easily supports, our nespresso machine, plenty of room in the draw for the pods.It looks neat and compact in the counter, very happy with buy.

Good storage
Well packaged, easy to build and looks smart under my nespresso machine. The plastic tray that the capsules sit in is a little flimsy but you can't tell when the draw is shut.
