Top notch artistry and storytelling
I couldn't be more pleased with this graphic novel. The artistry is first-rate. The stories are compelling. and it has all of the post-apocalyptic nihilism and road-roaring rage of the movies, as well as the tough heart of the movie protagonists and heartlessness of the bad guys. The movie started with some clear gaps that needed answering, and this book answers those. For instance, what was the story behind the "brides" and how Furiosa came to protect them? Or what's the backstory on Immortan Joe? The graphic novel also tells us the background for Nux, a couple novel stories for Max before he came to the movie, and even a chapter on the history of the War Rig!Not only does it have the movie director, George Miller, at the helm, but veteran Mad Max storyboarder and artist Mark Sexton contributing to the art. Any fan of Mad Max should purchase and read this at once!

Ride Eternal
The only people who seem to dislike this comic collection are radical feminists. That tells you everything you need to know.Oh the story doesn't fit your narrative and Furiosa doesn't approve of coat hangar abortions? Cry me a river. The Furiosa comic was actually a fascinating commentary on the way knowledge exacerbates the thirst for freedom. No matter how relatively pampered the living conditions of the wives were, they still sought out freedom. Even if they would die in the wasteland, at least it would be on their terms. The illustrations, story telling, and message were excellent in my opinion. The rest of the comics were great as well, however, I believe the Furiosa comic is unjustly getting a bad reputation. Therefore, I am only taking the time to share my thoughts on it alone.

What a lovely comic...
I'm excited to read the back stories. I actually didn't know this was a comic book, because it gives you the option of comic or paperback so I thought paperback meant like book form. But it's a comic haha, either way I'm excited to start it.Giving it a 4/5 because the book has a small dent on the cover.

Good back story set up
I think it was great for setting up the back story of immortan Joe and Furyosa and some other characters. It also gives a back story on the little girl that shows up to max throughout the movie which is almost the exact same story as the Mad Max game. I feel the game was better with that part but besides that the graphic novel is good.

Mediocre..
Mediocre.. I really wanted this to be shiny and chrome but the art is meh and the stories didn't really do anything for me and it felt really unnecessary. I was hoping for some massive insight into the immersive world and instead got some tidbits and trivia.Spoiler alertWhen Joe and his crew were taking the Citadel they couldn't climb the walls of the because snipers. So they sent a lizard to climb up there with a rope tied to it's back but the lizard wouldn't go on it's own accord so they cut off someone's finger and hung it in front of the lizard to motivate it to move up the cliff. So a few things here.. he has an army of people he's feeding why not just use a piece of food instead? Naw.. so the lizard climbs the cliff with the rope.. then what.. does the lizard tie the rope to the top? Nope.. so now you have an untied rope attached to a lizard and someone else now needs to climb up there to tie it up.. but remember snipers and if someone has to climb up to tie the rope and can evade the snipers then why didn't this person just carry the rope up in the first place so that dude could keep his finger? Finally great they have a rope everyone is going to climb but what about the snipers?Just not loving it, it felt half baked.

A MUST Own If You Loved The Film
What a impressive collection of graphic/comic book short stories, detailing the prequel to one of the top ten action films of all time. With stories overseen by the creator himself, George Miller, this is a must own for anyone who loved the film. You not only get a detailed introduction from George Miller's storyboard artist about the four tales in the book, but a bonus story, The War Rig, which is exclusive to this collection. While the artwork differs from each story, one - if not more - of the styles is sure to please your taste. You get more background not only on Max, but Immortan Joe and Furiosa. Short of watching a new Max Max film, this is as close as fans will get to having new material from this groundbreaking franchise. Obviously recommended.

I read it, I put it away, I read it again!
If you're a true Mad Max: Fury Road aka MM:FR fan you'll get the title of my review. I can't speak for how well someone who is not a MM:FR fan will witness this collection of comics, but if you're more than a mediocre MM:FR fan I think you'll enjoy it more than making the war boys V8 sign with your hands out the window of your car while driving down the freeway steering with your knees. It gives some backstory to some of the characters and locations in MM:FR, and for that I think it's worth it's weight in aqua cola. If you're truly looking to ride eternal, shiny and chrome, just go ahead and get it.

A must to be read before to watch the movie. I liked it. Could be cool to do a movie with these 5 comics.

Don't buy from Amazing_buy
Don't buy from Amazing_buy. The seller has one defective copy which he is selling over(that's why it says "only one left in stock"). I ordered it so I know. It is cheap from this particular seller for this reason. Do yourself a favour and spend some more on a perfect copy. It's a must have book for every Mad Max fan.

Down Fury Road...!!!
