UPDATE: Microwave broke after a week and a half of use. It is inoperable. As other reviewers have complained of, the door latch broke the door will not stay closed...looks like this is a common issue. Completely unacceptable for an item like this to only last a week. Very disappointed. Dont buy this microwave the same thing will break quickly if you get one.I never heard of the Walsh brand before so i was skeptical about buying this. When i was looking over the box, I saw that the microwave is manufactured by Galanz, so im much happier and more confident that this is a good microwave that will last. It appears to be well built, and doesnt have any of those complicated gimmicks that alot of the modern microwaves have. Its a simple solid black, with simple easy to use buttons. There are some presets, but i dont care because ill never use them. We will see how it holds up over time...I will update this review as time passes.

This works well. The only thing I do not like is you have to program in the 1 min for a cup of coffee, pushing the 1 won't work. This machine is built like the proverbial brick --it house, very, solid, and very well. I noticed this cooks very evenly, not like some of my past ones. Simply said, this is a much better value to me than many of the more expensive ones sold on the market; definitely better than the ones in Walmart. I would recommend it.

fast shipping sleek design - but door doesn't open!! Fresh out of the box and door won't open. Had to pop it open with a screwdriver!!

Update: Knocking down to one star because I called to have the missing part delivered to me as the company promised they would but they never sent me the missing part.Not a big fan of this microwave.Pros:It has basic microwave features-it's a microwave.Cons:1. It's very loud. I'm not talking about the oven, I'm talking about the buttons. Every time I push a button I get a very loud BEEP! The beeps shoots right through my neighbor's walls. Why would you possibly make the beeps so loud? Is the demographic for this microwave senior citizens that can't hear? I cringe every time I have to use this microwave in the late evening because I know my neighbor is hearing every BEEP!2. It slides backwards and out of place every time I push the button to open the door. I'm doing it as lightly as possible but it doesn't matter. It's annoying.3. It came with missing parts. I'm currently waiting for them to arrive from the company as Amazon was absolutely useless with support for this problem.Overall I'm not a fan because of the loudness of the button BEEPS and the microwave sliding backwards every time I open it but perhaps that doesn't bother other people.

I love the fact that its a good size, the numbers are very easy to press, although the ding ding is way too loud. I had to forgo a Toshiba that you could turn off the sound because the operation needed a scientist to figure out how to operate, which most of them do these days. I just wanted a SIMPLE, NICE,medium microwave and I got it.The sound is loud, but I usually stop mine at about 2 seconds and remove my coffee or foods, and then hit reset. That way just 2 bells instead of 4 . The door is a mite noisy and you have to push a little, but I am 89 years old and I can do it, so take my word, its perfect for us who were not raised in 'SMART" times, where everything is too complex to use:-)

I guess a good price but draws too much energy and blows fuses out. I would not recommend if you are not sure about the way your house is wired.

It a nice microwave for the price. I didn't want to buy the cheapest one out there as I wanted the standard watts and decent size. I'm actually more impressed with it than I thought I'd be. Only thing I'd like added is a dedicated 30sec instant start button. There are some programming options but I've never seen anyone actually use custom programming on a microwave.

I have demolished two other microwaves over the last year and a half. This brand is holding up very well. It was pointed out to me that it is the same brand as a non-digital microwave I passed on to my brother that is still working after about 15 years of use.

It's a standard microwave. My old one was broke, this one is not. Pretty much the whole story

great value for the price..especially because it has 1000 watts whereas most in the same price range give you between 600-900 . easy to use. look good..only thing is that it is way bigger then I thought it was going to be and my place is rather tiny...but overall I'm pretty happy with it
