FULL arm coverage! But not full sun protection.
These are perfect! I've bought other sun sleeves before, and none of them came up much past the elbow, even when the pictures on the website showed them extending up to the bicep. These sleeves cover all the way from the back of my hand up to the armpit, so my arms are fully protected from the sun even if I'm wearing a women's shirt with tiny cap sleeves.I ordered a medium, because I'm a cyclist and wanted to ensure they would stay put, so they fit a bit snug on my arms which suits me just fine. I do notice a tiny bit of slipping after about a month of daily use, but nothing extreme. They just start to get a bit saggy around my elbows. Nothing that a quick tug doesn't fix.The other minor complaint is that the light color shows dirt very easily and quickly. I bought them in pewter, which is more like a blush blue than a grey. Again, using these on my bicycle, the palms pick up all the road grime that collects on my handlebar grips. And since these are ambidextrous (you can use either sleeve on either arm), the glove part quickly becomes grimy on both sides. It washes up easily and dries quickly though. I'll probably end up getting another few pairs in a darker color like graphite, and the safety orange.Overall, one of the best sun sleeves I've ever used, and well worth the price. Especially if you're sensitive to the sun like me, these pay for themselves after a few weeks since you don't have to go through nearly as much sunscreen anymore. I only carry a small bottle for my face now, instead of having to keep a bigger bottle so I can keep my arms coated. These also keep my arms cool due to blocking the sun, and I get people everywhere asking me where I got them. They always ask me if my arms are hot, until I have them touch the sleeve, which feels much cooler than you would expect. If you give them a quick dip in water they're even cooler thanks to the evaporation. Wish they made these for legs.EDIT 7/21/2016: Well, I am editing my review after owning these for just three months. While they do prevent me from getting sunburn, which is great, they do NOT prevent me from getting tanned. Slowly I can see the color on my arms darkening, and I can tell this most easily by the tan line around my watch. I only bought the watch last month, and I wear the sleeves every time I go outside, so in the past month my arm skin has gotten tanner. While they do definitely screen the UV--- without the sleeves my arms would be much darker by now--- they do not even provide the same level of protection as even a basic cotton t-shirt. Again, I can see the tan line ending where my t-shirt sleeves start. So, bottom line: they're comfortable, and if you're looking for something to help prevent burns, they'll do the job. But they don't even screen as much light as a plain cotton shirt, so I am going to continue shopping around. I had to knock off a couple of stars because they're just not performing as expected.

Perfect sun protection for large/long arms/hands
I've been purchasing and wearing these sleeves for more than ten years. I always thought they were a bit pricey but when you consider their purpose, I'm just happy that they fit my large upper arm. They are comfortable and cooling when working or playing in the sun. It is great to see them in a few more colors.

These are the ones to get!
A family member has a form of Lupus that makes them photosensitive to UV light (Sun light). They were encouraged by a dermatologist to constantly apply sunscreen to skin areas, specifically the arms (if wearing a hat). Not wanting to have chemicals on the skin all the time, we resorted to looking for arm coverings. After trying 4 different types, I can positively say you get what you pay for:* Moonar® Winter Hand Arm Crochet Knit Braided Wool Fingerless Mitten Gloves Warm Warmer (Dark Gray) * Light Gray Stretchy Fingerless Thumbhole Arm Warmer Gloves for Women * Modern Ladies Long Arm Fingerless Warmer Gloves * AquaX Mild compression arm sleeves with thumb holes Sports armlet hand cover - 1 pair for UV Protection sun screen cooling cycling basketball running hiking golf volleyball outdoor sports I was so happy when we came across the Eclipse Sun Products UPF 50+ Sun Sleeves, Large, White ! Even though they cost 2-3x as much as other sleeves, they are far superior! We have ordered 2 sizes, large and medium. Both are nice to have. The medium fits perfectly like a compression stocking, and is good for active use. The Large fits well too, but of course more roomy – for a relaxed fit.Since wearing these, the family member went back to the dermatologist for a check up and they asked what she was doing because the Lupus seemed under control, much better than other clients this time of year (summer). She mentioned these and they said keep wearing them, they are doing better than the sunscreen and she's avoiding the chemicals.Pros:- Quality! They hold up to washing well (mostly wash in sink with light detergent).- UV protection is a huge plus!- Appearance when wearing looks sporty, not "goofy."- Does not feel hot to wear! Feels cool, even in direct sun light.Cons:-Can't think of one yet. Will revise review if needed.

best sunsleeves I own
I keep these in the car for driving and love them because they stay put (I have another pair that tend to roll down from the top of the arm). They cover part of my hand and have the thumbhole for extra coverage. Great for driving, not sure about gardening but that's more a personal preference. I;m not an animal print person but now that I have these they do give me a chuckle when I put them on in the car, I care more about protecting my skin over what the print is. I would buy them again over any of my other brands and pairs

Cool & light weight
So much easier than wearing a long sleeved top to protect your arms against sun rays. So easy to put them on when going out to garden. Easy to pack & to wash. This is my second set and an essential item when traveling to sunny climates.

careful with size
just received mine today and happy with colour and feel. I am 49yrs old, 5'6'' and 146lbs. I bought size M but I find them too long. My arm length is 20-21". Perhaps I should have bought the small...

Una necesidad para los que manejan
Tengo notablemente el brazo izquierdo más Moreno por el daño solar que he recibido al manejar, desde que uso las mangas he notado que se ha ido mejorando el tono de mi piel . Ajustan muy bien y repelen el calor .
