We are an avid outdoor family, highly involved in scouting and camping and always needing survival gear for training, backpacking and camping in the wilderness, which we do on a monthly basis. This is a nice compact kit which stores neatly in the black box (takes some arranging), and actually fits in the car's glove box. A few highlights...the knife has a threefold use, flips open easily with one hand, and also has a glass breaker on the end and a seatbelt cutter. The paracord bracelet is high quality, and my son made a grab for it immediately. The bracelet has a clip that has a fire starter, whistle, and compass built right into it! The tactical pen is a basic one but has a heavy duty sturdy construction with a glass breaker on the end. I'll be keeping this one in my work bag and hopefully will never need it for self defense, but you never know. There's also a lightweight flashlight, high quality fire starter, whistle, mini saw, emergency blanket, wallet multi tool, carabiner and water bottle holder. In all honesty, I likely will never use the water bottle holder. While it may be useful for some, when you backpack long miles like I do, every ounce of weight counts.

This is so great for an avid scout, outdoor enthusiasts, fishing, hiking, you name it = our family is doing it! This kit gives me some piece of mind and teaches responsibility and self dependency. We must teach Preparations to the younger generations of our families! Great for throwing in a pack or in the car! Please keep safe from kids. The blade on the knife is exceptional! This price is great! Packaging back into the small black box is tricky - but nice because it doesn’t take up much space and can be packed into compact spaces!

Since I go camping quite often, I decided to buy a mini survival kit to keep in my car just in case I needed it. When I received the kit, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the items. The items were all sturdy and in working condition. The knife itself felt like a $15+ knife and I could not believe that you could get all these items for less than $30! Although I do not believe this kit has everything you need to survive in the wild, I also do not see myself being in that situation. All in all, this is a great kit that comes at a great price. The only gripe I have is that the case is a little flimsy, but does not take away from the overall value of this kit!

This is a great gift to give someone that loves the outdoors, upon opening you can see it comes with everything you just about might need in a survival situation. They give you a knife, a pen, life blanket, multiple blades and too many more to list. The case it also comes in is very sturdy so you can tie it around your bag with no problems.This kit is defiantly for the person who is outdoors all the time either camping or hiking since everything they could need in any given situation js in this box

This is a survival kit for everyone, not just young boys. The knife is very sturdy and sharp. The whistle is loud. The paracord bracelet would have many uses in a survival situation. The pen writes very well and has a very nice glass breaking device on the other end. I need it for the outdoors or to keep in the car.

I got it for my brother for Christmas and decided to keep it for myself LOL it's a great kit to have for anyone who spends time outdoors and in a convenient organized box thatll fit right in your pack.
