Eyeglass lanyard
After a month or so of continuous use, I can report that the Peeper Keeper works just as it's supposed to. My previous experience with such devices is that they fall apart or fail to grip the glasses frame reliably. The design problem has been solved here with a high-friction eye that slips over the temple end, then holds on for dear life. This eye is flexibly attached to the stout, slender leather cord that loops around the neck. The result is that the glasses can be pulled off and popped back on countless times a day in a single movement, always at hand when needed. The lanyard will probably outlive the frame.

The Best I've Ever Owned
These are truly the best "eyeglass leashes" I've ever owned, and I've been using leashes for decades because i was sick and tired of misplacing my glasses. I was somewhat reluctant to order them because the only type I've ever owned for regular glasses (as opposed to "sports-type" glasses) have always had a tiny elastic band with a metal coil. So these were a totally new type. The connector to my eyeglass frames is ingenious. And, if it should break for any reason, these come in packs of two--so I have a spare. I also like that they are NOT braided leather because I wanted something as smooth and inconspicuous as possible. Note: I am a woman who wears "normal" weight and size glasses; I don't think these would not work well if my frames were especially thick, but they would certainly work with thinner ones.

A Change In Quality
OK ... this might seem like a little problem in the course of every day life, but here goes. I need to see, I have to do extra laundry and I'm losing money because of this product. I've worn these Peepers narrow black leather glasses cords every day for years , for my reading glasses. I've really liked their sleek, unobtrusive look and convenience. Sorry to report there's been a rather dramatic drop in quality. I've gone through 4 packs of them in the last 5 months , the rubber grips keep tearing or stretching out, so my glasses often fall off (usually , of course, in public when I have both hands full ! ) I've lost 2 pairs of glasses that have broken when they fell . Also I've noticed during hot summer weather, the black leather dye will rub off on my white clothing. Why do companies "improve" good products down in quality or give us planned obsolescence ? I will purchase these one more time, in case I've just run into a temporary manufacturing problem … if they haven't returned to the quality they once had , you've lost a long time customer, Peepers.

These are an excellent product. Especially the rubber earpieces
Having tried lots of different glasses strings, these are my favorite. When I first saw them, I thought the larger than standard earpieces would cause problems. I was wrong. My first concern was that they wouldn't fit over the frames on my Oakleys. The "ear piece arm" is a little over 1/2 inch at its vertical measurement. The rubber pieces slid on a stayed where there were put. EXCELLENT. I was also worried that the rubber earpieces would rub against my face. Wrong again. These rubber earpieces are great. They work on all my glasses and they stay where I put them. No annoying sliding around.

Worth the money
These work great for me. For years I used the cheaper retainers on my "cheater" glasses that I used for reading. Now that I am older and had to purchase more expensive bi-focal glasses from my optometrist I wanted some type of retainer that would securely hold glasses around my neck when I wanted to rest my eyes. This way I would not be constantly having to put them down on a desk or table and they would always be with me. These retainers are comfortable and I am confidant that my glasses will not slip out of them and fall to the floor.

I really love these Peeper Keepers
I really love these Peeper Keepers! I've been wearing reading glasses for years and always lose my glasses because I lay them down in weird places. I have used eye glass holders for a long time but the ends always stretch out and end up being useless. These Peeper Keepers are awesome! The ends are very snug on all of my glasses and I have no issues with them stretching to the point of falling off the ends of the glasses. And the thin black leather is perfect to keep everything professional. Absolutely love them!

Maybe not ideal for glasses with wide temples
I do love these, but having wider arms/temples on my glasses, I felt overstretched the rubber bits. I was really disappointed they broke fairly quickly on one side. Giving them 4 stars because I think if I hadn’t put them on my wide-arm glasses, they would have been awesome.

They are easy to put on once you wet them on the ...
Pleasantly surprised how flexible and relaxed the holders layed. Often times they types are hard and look too sporty. They are easy to put on once you wet them on the tips as directed and the don't slide around. No concern about your glasses falling out if you let them hang. Very pleased. Especially for the price. Great value.
