JiBen LED Lighted 7X Magnifying Makeup Mirror with Power Locking Suction Cup, Bright Diffused Light and 360 Degree Rotating Adjustable Arm, Portable Cordless Home and Travel Bathroom Vanity Mirror

I've been using this 7x mirror for a few months now, and I was waiting to write a review until I could see how it was going to perform and hold up. I LOVE this thing! I stick it on to the inside of my patio sliding glass door which faces out into my backyard (very easy to do with just a simple twist), so I get the advantage of the bright sunlight from outside and the so-so built in battery light. When I am finished using it, I unstick it (with another simple twist), and take it down and store it away until I need it the next day. The suction on this thing is amazing! It has not fallen off once. The built-in light is just so-so (not super bright), but it's better than nothing. The thing I really like about it is the articulating arm. You can really angle this mirror right or left, and raise and lower it to the facial area you need to see better without having to take it off and re-attach it in a higher/lower position. It is genius! But, my old eyes are getting so bad that I kind of wish I had ordered the stronger magnification than the 7x. But that is not the company's fault. Oh, well, I guess I'll wait and see how long it lasts, and if it does eventually break or something, I would definitely order another one, but in a higher magnification power. This product is well worth it.

My Husband bought me this mirror as a Christmas present. When I opened it and saw that it was 5X magnification and LED, I jumped for JOY! We travel a lot and Hotel mirrors have poor lighting making it difficult to see how to apply my makeup. In addition, I need reading glasses so a regular bathroom mirror just doesn't cut it. I have searched for two years, online and in stores, for a travel mirror that would take the place of my awesome at home, lighted makeup mirror. My perfect travel mirror had to have LED lights, be lightweight, fold to fit in a suitcase and have either 5X or 7x magnification which would allow you to see your entire face. Any magnification higher then this is makes the image too close. (I have a tiny, purse size 12x mirror for plucking eyebrows etc.). The other things I like about the mirror is that it can both sit on its stand or be suctioned to a larger mirror. It is super lightweight and the lights are BRIGHT. Every detail important to me was designed into this product. (We have all been disappointed by purchases and wondered if the products were use tested before coming to market.) The product designers at JiBen actually thought about what would make the perfect travel makeup mirror. Thank you JiBen!

I can only say that I like it 'so far', as I haven't had occasion to actually use it yet. I purchased it for a future trip and have put it away until then. Have experience too many 'fine' hotel rooms with bad, or no adequate lighting for women's needs (makeup, hair etc.) and am determined that won't be the case for my next trip - even if that means I have to bring my own. ;-) I will say that this 5X mirror seems to be just the magnification that I was looking for, having returned a 10X mirror that caused me to have to hold it 3 inches from my face to see anything without distortion. This 5X seems more like my every day at home lighted makeup mirror, which is just right. The seller is very conscientious. I've had a couple of emails from them thanking me for the purchase and wanting to make sure I am happy - assuring me that should I have any problems with the mirror they will be handled promptly. That's nice. That's all I can offer for now...

I can understand why some women are so grouchy in the morning. Make up mirrors like this reflects very highly on showing you all your facial flaws. I used to help me shave better. Good enough mirror to make me realized what very old owl I have become. But ironically, I think I need a bigger mirror......five inch appears to be bit too small. I may order a seven inch instead. But overall, this mirror hold up well, reflects well and lite up well. It does take AAA batteries, two of them. Installation was easy and I had the mirror up on my vanity mirror within seconds. 5x magnification is just right for me. Enough to see the hairs that needs to be shave, not strong enough to see every imperfection on your face at the same time. Ouch!! No complaints from me on this product but I would have to order a 7 inch as 5 was bit too small.

I have had my 7X mirror attached to the bathroom mirror about 3 weeks now and it has not fallen off so far. It feels pretty sturdy. I have 4 vanity lights above the BR mirror so don't really need the one in the 7X mirror. It is super bright -- I'm blinded for a bit after looking away. The magnification is right on. I've looked into 10X mirrors and my face looks horrid! If I plucked my eyebrows, I would have a difficult time seeing the light, fine hairs without my glasses. But I'm not a plucker, so I'm good with that. It's a good thing I want to keep this product because my 11-mo. old Aussie found the package before I did and proceeded to destroy the packaging. Lucky for me there were only scuff marks on the outside frame and no harm to the mirror or suction cup.

Out of the box I tried to adhere the mirror to several different surfaces without success. I had planned to send an email to the seller, but found an email from them to me instead inquiring about my satisfaction with their product. That impressed me since I had just received the item 2 days earlier. When I explained my disappointment I quickly received a reply from the owner, Lisa. She was very sorry for my negative experience with her product and offered to replace the mirror. She also asked if I had made sure the suction cup was not in the "locked position". It was. After properly UNLOCKING the suction cup (a very very simple twist at the base), it stuck like magic and has not budged in weeks!!I travel a lot for work and always wished I could have a swivel lighted makeup mirror in my own bathroom. This mirror requires no drilling and does not take up much room at all. It is convenient enough to pack for travel as well! But the cherry on the cake is definitely the owner, Lisa. Top notch hands down BEST customer service ever!! This item will be at the top of my gift giving list for sure!

My expectations failed. The magnification makes impossible to see my face clearly. I'm very disappointed.
