Package was a little damaged, Like the box had been opened. The bottle did NOT have a protective tamper seal on it and the vitamins looked completely different than on the packaging. There was no "Materna" written on then and they were a different colour and shape. I bought some from the pharmacy to compare. Especially with the lack of tamper seal, as a pregnant soon to be first time mother, this left me very unsettled.

After taking these for a few days, my wife began getting headaches and informed me that there was quite a bit different in terms of packaging than previous bottles she purchased in store (She has had several bottles of it before, all purchased from the drug store). After purchasing another bottle from the store, many differences were quite evident:- the pills are not engraved ("Materna" is normally engraved)- no security packaging- different packaging as a whole (box and bottle)- no tamper sealBE CAREFUL!!!

I have read a few reviews claiming that these are not legitimate Nestle Materna Multivitamins. After I received mine I called Nestle directly and they confirmed that they are indeed legitimate. They do not have a foil seal, they have a tamperproof plastic ring that clicks and breaks off when you first open the bottle (like a water bottle). The pills have a perforation on one side and and “M” on the other.If you use the $3 subscribe and save coupon and the $10 Thyme coupon these are almost free! WIN WIN in my books 👌🏻

I’ve purchased Materna from other retailers before with no issues. This review is solely for the product Amazon is selling. I have never written a review before but as this product affects pregnant women and their unborn, I knew I had to. First, the product came with no seal, which was a red flag right off the cuff. Then, in comparing the product to Materna purchased from a store, you can see in the picture the major deficiencies. The product on the left is the store-bought Materna. The product on the right is what I received from Amazon. The Materna has consistent features (smooth, with all Ms looking exactly the same), and the other has inconsistent texture and Ms, with a line on the back not present in the store-bought version. I’m not saying the amazon version is an imposter; I’m only warning that it doesn’t look like the real thing and there’s no way of knowing if there could also be differences in the vitamin and mineral formula. I hope this review is helpful to those deciding to order this from Amazon.

Je croyais qu'il n'y avait pas de sceau de sécurité mais finalement il est autour de la bouteille il casse quand on l'ouvre et les pilules sont identiques à ceux acheter en pharmacie c'est un nouveau modèle donc tout est parfait!
