Wanted to love them....
I was so excited to receive my Dopie sandals, which I ordered in white from Amazon last month. They look totally cool. They elicit all kinds of positive comments on the streets of NYC -- no one has seen them before! All good.Sadly, they are not comfortable, at least for me, or for my partner, who also bought a pair online. I expect to have to get used to any new kind of footwear, but these are taking a long, long time. I've owned three pairs of Nike Rifts, so I'm comfortable with the idea of the separated big toe. But these are made from rather hard plastic and give me blisters on the inside of my second toe. The strap (which is removable) cuts into the top of my foot. They are not as smooth as the straps on a pair of Teva sandals, which I've also owned in the past and loved. You can remove the strap, like I said, but then the sole slaps your foot audibly with every step you take. Not so great. So they look cool, yes. But who needs a pair of uncomfortable plastic sandals at this price? Next time I'll opt for a pair of $5 thongs at H&M.

Perfect fit!
These were the best purchase for the price and I found them to be very comfortable. I had seen them in Puerto Rico but could not find them in my size. Luckily I found them here and I haven't been happier. They are definitely head turners.
