A Shade of Vampire 17: A Wind of Change

Is so hard to put these books down. So don't! You'll love this series of books. Bella takes us back to Ben's story and it will have you spellbound. Questions have answers and story's added have questions to where you can't wait for the next book release. I have read all of Bella's books and everyone has you in love with the characters and the Shade. I hope the books never end. These books are a must read and you won't regret it.

After the stupendous ending of Rose and Caleb’s story line in Book 16, I have been ANXIOUSLY awaiting the beginning of Ben’s. Once again, Bella delivers! We get a lot of back story of new characters in this installment – important and valuable back story.We are introduced to a new, wonderfully strong heroine who just might replace Rose as my favorite female character in the series. And this heroine is of the “normal” world – although, much like Sofia, she comes from a tough background from which she has not only survived, but thrived. Of course we all knew that it would take someone VERY special to pair up with our Ben! And our new antagonist(s) are especially scary and mysterious. What exactly they are planning is still a big mystery, but I suspect we will be uncovering that little gem in Book 18. Although I’m still reeling from the revelation that Lucas Novak has a son, I look forward to seeing just what type of person Jeramiah Stone (Novak) really is. Something tells me that even though he never met his Dad, Lucas still had a huge influence on who Jeramiah has become.Although this book flows at a slower pace, with not quite as much jaw dropping craziness as book 16, it is well worth the read. The information gained from this book is going to lead into what I’m suspecting is one giant, crazy, indescribable whirlwind of a story line for Ben and his “new friend”. Can’t WAIT for Book 18!!

You never know what will happen with these series of these books. I wanted to know about Ben and see if he had learned to control his thirst for human blood. I guess he has a way to go but at least he is doing a good job of trying hard. This is a very good book because it has Ben trying to help others and bringing of home even though he still has to find the reason why his thirst for human blood is so great. Can't chance going home yet.

this book started out very slow compared to her other books. I wasn't sure what to think at first and ALMOST lost interest. but I LOVE the shade and all the characters! so I muscled through, and after the first few chapters it got MUCH better! I'm finally interested in Ben's story (and I never was before) so I'm pleased! I can't wait for more shade books!!!

Good start, to opening a new chapter in the Shade series with Ben life story. Bella, I hope you have more fire and stay awake moments in this additional Shade series. I am looking forward to stay up until two in the morning because I can put it down moments. Wow your readers and don't let us be bored. We are on the eighteenth storytelling adventure with you.

I love the fast pace of this story. I also like the here and there references to previous characters. I feel like I’m part of the Shade. As always, Bella’s ability to outline fine details about people places and things, brought River, her family and her new acquaintances right to life! Bravo! On to book 18.

I absolutely love her books. They captivate you with all the characters and places. The imagination I have gives me a vivid image of the people and places. I literally can read each book in 1 or 2 days. I can't wait to get the Kindle subscription to have access to the Shade nonstop. Read it! You will become just as addicted.

Wasn't sure how I felt leaving Rose and the others behind,kind of felt I was cheating on them with Ben!This book felt more descriptive than the others, but it painted a good picture of the new characters and environment.I enjoyed the book much more than I expected to as I wasn't sure how I felt about Ben. However by the end of this I love Ben! He's growing into a great character and we have lots about him to find out,and I can't wait!Can't wait for the next chapter!

On the edge of my seat, so to speak, from the first page. Ben discovers there is no easy way out and things go from bad to worse when a human girl is thrown into the mix.The Oasis, desert paradise or gilded cage? All is not as it seems in this idyllic hideaway, from camels to humans and even the vampires. With intrigues and in fighting, to things that grind in the night! There are now 17 books in this series which is a lot, but I cannot recommend them highly enough. Once you enter The Shade, you really won’t want to leave.

This series is great, if you are addicted to twilight, then you will be addicted to these from bk 1Well done Bella Forrest, this books most certainly would make a good film.Cannot wait for book 18 to come out already have pre ordered.Have read Keiv series and beautiful monster series.Readers you do have to start at bk 1 - promise you will not put it down.Come on Bella this can be a film too. As. good as Twilight

Bella 's done it again. I say it with every book but they get better and better!!We're back in the oasis with Ben and wondering why he can't escape and just how much Jeremiah knows about him.Bella introduces some great new characters and another strong female lead which complements the line of the story.So glad to be back in the shade and can't wait for book 18 as Ben's story only just got going!!!

This is the beginning of the eagerly anticipated Bens story and it doesn't disappoint. The introduction of River as a love interest for Ben is great and hopefully she will be the key to his return to the shade. This book is a brilliant read and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Amazing book, I always managed to read Bella's books in a day as they are brilliant.Couldn't recommend more, I really want to buy all the paperbacks as atm I download them. They are compelling and beautifully written. Looking forward to more of the shade and hopefully a movie/TV series in the future.

Yet another great book from Bella forrest. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series and hope they are just as good

Once again Bella has a winner I love how the plot continues and grows from book to book introducing new characters keeping the book and the series moving along. Great read thanks again transported into another world

too confusing lost interest

Brilliant as alway. Had dropped the series for a bit as I hadn't had time. Now that I have started again I'm going to make time can't put it down again

as usual another great read from Bella Forrest, cant wait for the next one. i wish she would make the books a longer read.

I enjoyed this latest book from bella forrest but I found that it was'nt as engrossing as the previous shades books
