Wanted something different and larger then the norm to hang on a carport wall. The size mattered because they would have to hold shade plants and not be watered every day. Even more pleased with them then I expected to be. Have already recommended them to friends.

Actually liked the older fabric style for looks but this newer, plastic model works fine.

First off let me say I have had a horrible history with plants - they all seem to die at my hand. Not anymore! I bought these to add a little of the outside, inside my high rise city apartment. These were super easy to assemble and after 1 month I have beautiful healthy plants. As the instructions warned me, I had some soil come through the front slits right after planting but this only lasted about a day. Each week I fill the resivoir with fresh water and 10 drops of Miracle-Grow liquid fertilizer - super easy and good for someone who is out of town during the week. My plants look great and are actually growing!! I have it 4 stars because the first 2x I watered after hanging the planters on the wall one planter leaked. I suspect this is because the soil and plant root system was still settling. Since then I have had no leakage!

The top does not connect properly all the ones i bought is mostly bent. They do not align at all.
