This is the best office chair I ever had and I have a sitting job and have been really particular about chairs in my office. And I have a bad back. It is probably the best product I ever bought from Amazon, and sight unseen. I bought it at the beginning of the pandemic when I started working from my home office. This was when you could search really well on Amazon, you could read all the questions and answers, which you can't do any longer. So I read about many office chairs and personal revues on Amazon. One of the main reasons that I liked Amazon is because of the reviews and questions and answers. Now the Q&As are gone. Still I read the reviews, but I notice that most of them are written right after purchase and I don't think that means very much for certain products, because it doesn't tell you whether they have held up. I am starting to use other shopping networks more frequently than I used to, in addition to Amazon.Anyway, I was so happy with this chair that I bought a second one in case the first one didn't hold up. Now it is 4 years later and both have held up perfectly, despite a LOT of use. The only thing that I didn't like was the plastic wheels on my wood floor, so I bought replacement wheels that were better on my floor.This was an amazing purchase. I'm not saying it would be good for anyone's back, but it is very good for mine, because it has a lot of support, yet is giving.

I have a bad back and need to sit in a desk chair a lot for work, which can be uncomfortable. My last desk chair was a Herman Miller Aeron.This chair is immeasurably more comfortable than the Aeron. The HMA seat is made of a taught woven nylon that, though it is just stretched fabric, felt too hard for me. I could not sit in that chair for hours on end, and even found myself swapping it for another chair from a coworker, and that was a $39 special from Staples.On this Italmodern chair, the bungees work beautifully. The bungees are spaced so that you don't feel them individually, unless it occurs to you (as it did to me, with a sense of relief) how they give when you move and in the back of your mind you expect some discomfort you're used to - and it's not there.The chair's build quality is excellent. Assembly was straightforward and easy. You undo four screws and put the bottom support on the seat bottom. Insert the center post to the caster bottom, then the seat onto that, all without tools. Everything fits precisely. You slide the back into place, attach the two armrests with two screws apiece (allen keys included), two safety screws to hold the back on, and you're done. No wrangling with difficult assembly.Controls all work correctly. Rubber on armrests feels good beneath bony elbows.The only thing that peeves me about this purchase is that the black was so much more expensive than any of the other colors, but that's the way of the world, and as mercenary as that may be, it's not a reflection on an excellent product.

Very nice chair. It is all that I hoped. The support is above average and it is very comfortable. I sit longer without realizing it, whereas in the past I was rotating pillows to sit on or changing chairs to give my butt and back a break. The bungies allow air to flow under the butt and around the back so no more sweaty seats or sticky clothing.It was easy to assemble. It Is the first chair I purchased where I can sit properly for a 6 foot person! It goes high enough that my feet barely touch the floor, if I want. It also adjusts low enough for the average heights. The seating area is comparable to most office chairs. No shortage on space.I owned this chair a couple of months now and would recommend this chair for anyone who sits long hours working. I heard about it from someone who has a bad back. The chair does provide exceptional support across the butt and all areas of the back. I noticed less pain in my own neck and back and attribute that to the chair's support.

Incredibly simple to put together, and more comfortable than I was expecting. The bungees are very firm and only have enough give to envelope you. They are not saggy at all. The tilt feature is nice and it leans pretty far, only difficulty is actually getting the chair to lean. You really have to commit to putting your weight backwards. So you can’t really comfortably lean while still keeping your hands at the desk.As far as the sturdiness of the chair is concerned, I just purchased but all components seem well crafted and seem as though they will pass the test of time. I’ll update if anything changes.I think I still prefer my steelcase chair at the office over this, but all in all, very nice chair and happy with the purchase.

The only chair I can sit in without suffering in pain (after 3 backs surgeries). Any other chair it hurst me to sit, so I'm thanking God somebody made this chair - because, for me, the high back and the tilt function are both key to getting out of pain. Whenever I sit anywhere it hurts. But the bungee cords in this chair take away 80 percent the pain, and then the second that I tilt back, the other 20percent of my pain magically disappears and I'm totally comfortable. Without this chair I couldn't have the job I have, I couldn't work in an office, & I'd actually probably be on disability benefits to survive, because that's the direction my life was heading before this chair. It's so critical to my ability to function that I bought 2 so I didn't have to lug the first one I had back and forth between work and home. I couldn't be happier - WELL worth every penny!
