Split in one month
This ladle split after one month. It was always hung up immediately after use and never left in water. Splitting this quickly is inexplicable to me. I’d recommend choosing a different sauna ladle.

The amount of water scooped up is small
I really like this ladle except for one thing. Because I use it with a spa bucket, and the ladle handle is straight, it just can’t scoop up much water to put on the sauna rocks. I can only get as much water as fits in a small front section of the scoop.It is; however, very sturdy and otherwise well made. I just need to decide if I want to get rid of the ladle or the bucket.

Handle too short
It's a nice cedar ladle but the handle should be 2-3 inches longer. You have to put your hand too close to the heater when pouring the water.
