You can spend hours browsing Amazon for the perfect panniers for your particular cycling needs - I know this all too well. When I'd finally selected the Volkcam 20L Dry Bag, I admit to being more than a bit hesitant. Fortunately, my panniers arrived (I bought two), and now that I've been using them for a couple of weeks, I'm beyond happy with them.Pros:- VERY water-resistant- incredible durable - I've already dumped my bike once while using them and they survived completely unscathed- lots of room- nice-looking- relatively inexpensive compared to other panniers in their class- extremely secureCons:- a little finicky to attach to the rack at first but after a couple of weeks the clamps break-in a bit and they're much less stiff

I got the yellow version of this Volkam/Rhinowalk pannier on sale, but have found that despite having the same nominal volume as the vaunted ortlieb back roller classics (20L), these are much less spacious. Multiplying the listed dimensions (12 x 6.1 x 12.2 inches) I calculate 14.6 L. And there is limited room to expand the capacity by partially unrolling. I can only fit my laptop, work clothes, and lunchbox if I jam things in. The springs in the quick release mechanism are too strong, so I often need two hands to activate the QR compared to one handed operation of Ortlieb. The final straw that broke the camel's back was that the listing states that this item has a smaller mesh pocket. This is untrue! The pannier I received is only one big compartment.Despite the amazing price, apparently durable build quality, and quick release mechanism, I will be returning ttis item and buying either 2nd hand ortlieb roller back classic or one of the Rhinowalk "27L" pannier bags which do come with organizational pockets (and at their listed dimensions are 12.6 x 6.1 x 17.7 inches or 22.3 L)

Almost gave this 4 stars because I bought it to pair up with a discontinued bag I bought 2 years ago and this one was much smaller. Realized that was MY fault for not measuring my older bag. The top clips on this bag are flat so the top of the rack is usable. There is a 27L version of this bag that is a much closer match, capacitywise, to my old bag. This bag has a roll top to keep water out but with a cargo net over the top you can pretty much double the capacity by leaving it unrolled. The top clips can be slid to adjust the width to fit different rack designs along with the bottom clip sliding and can be reversed for a secure fit. May get another one of these, the larger one, and a front rack, for grocery store trips. While there are no inside(or outside) pockets my 13 inch laptop in its lightweight case fits and still has room for a couple folds of the top to keep things dry.

Once I received this I realised it is rather small, good for shorter trips. If you like to bring your sleeping bag, tent and cooking utensils you wont be able to pack them in even two of those. This bag is also expensive comparing to other available on Amazon, including those which are bigger. I was able to compare this one with some other yellow bag which was bigger and cheaper. Both looked like made in the same factory when it comes to the materials and overall quality.I decided to keep it because I don't think I need bigger bag, I like long trips but I rely on hostels so I only travel with clothes and toiletries. It looks sturdy and waterproof. Should last. It is priced rather high.

At first glance the pannier is built to last with rugged PVC material that has been vulcanized together with sturdy straps and the hardware riveted on to a hard backing inside the bag. It actually looks like something made in America decades ago that is how good the quality seems to be. BTW this was a Christmas gift to myself and I am not affiliated with the manufacture or distributor.UPDATE: Bought a second one.

I bought two. They're sturdy, water-proof, and durable. I've biked for miles and miles with these things. They have multiple buckles that allow me to close them up and buckle over top of my rack to secure my yoga mat. I'me very happy.

It fits perfectly on the specialized pizza rack. I purchased it needed a small bag for the front of my bike. It’s important to note this transaction is for only one bag not two.

This baby is practically airtight! Very strong construction and easy to clip on to my rack.
