These work very well. We had new carpet installed a couple years ago and didn’t want the bed to dent it so I bought these based on the recommendation from the carpet installer. I’ve now purchased more for other rooms because as free moving the bed and vacuuming you can’t even tell where the legs were on the carpet.

The plastic is sturdy, will not bend or deform under shear weight of the coffee table, bigger surface area and spines help to reduce sinking effect into the carpet. Overall it works as intended. There’s no adhesive between the interface of the table legs and the piece, so it will fall off when you life the table. The spines makes it only suitable for carpet application.

Works

These are plenty sturdy and are effective at keeping a chair from dimpling the rug, but the hard, slick plastic gives no grip for wood or metal tipped chair legs. Chairs slide around and often slip right out of the caster. They would work better with a rough surface inside, or maybe a hard rubber insert.

I really like these. They keep the carpet from deep indentations. However, I should have gone a set that was a little larger for this bench.

Perfect size for plant stand legs & furniture legs. Clear plastic makes for a low profile.

If you want a huge carpet protector, this is what you need. They are very sturdy and durable. I was looking for something smaller, but I cannot put fault on this product, I was stupid and did not look at the measurements.

The little feet on the cups do indeed prevent depressions. Works well, and we have it on a silk rug holding up a heavy coffee table.
