About Sevylor The road from Sevylor's founding in 1948 to its current role as the dominant supplier of a wide range of inflatables--such as kayaks, boats, and towables--is a long one, with plenty of original inventions and innovations along the way. Established in a city suburb of Vitry, France, by electronics engineer Berco Grimbert, Sevylor originally built electrical accessories, with a sideline business dedicated to using its high-frequency welding machines to manufacture PVC consumer goods. The first inflatable to receive rave notice was a small bathtub called the Dou Dou. Perfect for postwar France, the inflatable tub was portable, convenient, practical, easy to clean, durable, and, best of all, affordable. After moving to the picturesque Alsatian village of Buhl, the company expanded into developing valves, pumps, boats, inflatable pools, and a variety of water toys. In the ensuing years, Sevylor first developed a PVC that had "memory"--meaning it could return to its original shape regardless of temperature--and then made history by releasing an inflatable pool mattress with a headrest and circular pockets. In 1986, the company invented the Ski Bob, a real turning point in the evolution of the towables business. Today, Sevylor's innovative designs include tenders, hunting and fishing boats, specialty boats and kayaks, towables, snow tubes, air beds, pool floats, river tubes, swim and sport rings, and more.

Very good
I have used this product several times and each time for me it has delivered. (Although if you think about it, the day it doesnt deliver that could be a long swim back.) In terms of setup and takedown, very fast and easy. (I shouldnt have to write this but if you are to use your on hot-air on this, you may be awhile.. (Trust me, I know, still coughing) Other than that, its great really.oh, before I go.... do yourself a favor and buy other Oars..... these default oars are very tiny, I mean......very very very very tiny... its like watching a kid walk next to a grown, there feet move so fast for a few steps...(I dont know kids and walking but I do know, dont use these oars)

Cheap fun
Boat was about what I was expecting. A little too small for 4 people - took my 6'2 boyfriend and my teacup pom + gear and it was about filled. Oars not the best either, but overall for the money it was a great investment. Took it for a 6 mile run down a river & was very comfortable. You're paying $75 dollars for a boat, don't expect something you can take down class III rapids! This is very good for it's money.

poor customer services when needed
"The product arrive fast. However, there supposed to be a repair patch that were not there. All I saw was two pieces of vinyl. From my past experience with the vinyl boat, I would need the repair patch. Contacted the customer service. No one picked up phone call and no return for emails. Terrible customer services. I bought two boats from them and now I would look elsewhere."

good boat for 2 people floating down the river
this is a good boat for 2 adults on an easy river with a few bumps. the oars on the other hand are not for a heavy handed guy. each one I tried to use broke while trying to get away from trees etc. the only one that didn't break is the one my girlfriend was using. the only way you are going to get 4 people on this raft is if they are only 12 years old.I would recommend this for people don't want to spend a bunch of money for a fun day on the river.

love it !
this boat is much sportyer than my old challenger 400 , i like the look and even though its not more roomy it gives that feeling. i would recomend this boat to anyone looking for a small inflatable for use with small motor , i easily made a motor mount for it and have run a 30 lb thrust minn kota motor , but i will be getting a 2 hp power motor for it. the boat airs up fast and the great part is it deflates really well no work requiered just pull the caps and walk away for little bit it totally deflates itself , i would highly recomend this product ! on the down side 1- the ors are cheapy 2- the tube in the middle i could do without other than that greast boat !

Great quality !
The material on this boat is outstanding. Thick and sturdy. It is more of a 2 person boat and the oar ring placement is a bit odd; however, we think if we sit backwards with our back facing the front of the boat, the oar placement is probably perfect. We're going to try that next time. It inflates and deflates quickly and even folds up to fit back in the original box. We love it !

these boats are awesome! They are quite cheap for its quality
Ooh, these boats are awesome! They are quite cheap for its quality. I took few of them for me and for my friends, we still use them for fishing in ponds and just for fun on mountain rivers.
