Taste is good
They taste good and easy to chew, not sure that I’ve noticed a difference in sight though.

Exceptional gummy taste
This is a review for the Life Extension Digital Eye Support (Gummy Science) 60 Count. My husband has very light blue eyes and never wears sunglasses so I am always on the prowl looking for pills or supplements he can take that will prevent him from getting macular degeneration (which runs in his family.). He’s pretty fussy and doesn’t like to take any meds so this take some work on my part.I got him these and he just loves them; they have a great chewy gummy consistency. In fact I have to limit him to the recommended dosage of just two a day or else he’d chew them all.As far as helping improve his eyes, there’s no way I can vouch for that. I asked our ophthalmologist about these and he gave the thumb’s up so he’s taking two every morning. Now these are a bit pricey but no stars off for that because that’s up to the consumer; just know these taste great and have a nice consistency.

Do they work?
These come with about 60 gummies and recommends you take 2 once a day (mine was either 1 short or 1 over I didn't count them out just noticed I don't have enough to match up pairs in my pill/vitamin organizer). I really wish that companies would just make it one larger gummy for 1 a day but splitting it out this way makes you feel like you get more for money. There's nothing particularly practical about it.As a Muslim I have religious dietary restriction which prevent me from consuming gelatin unless it's not from pigs or if it's medically necessary so I rarely get to find gummy vitamins that I can take though I've noticed a trend towards more vegan gummies so maybe the tides are changing. I was of course happy to try these then seeing as they don't have any gelatin. The package is fine, nothing spectacular and nothing terrible. It does have light child safety features on the lid but dur to the size of the lid I don't think it would pose an issue to anyone who has arthritis or other joint/muscle/nerve issues to open. The main text with the brand, type, flavor, etc... is easy to read but I struggled to read the ingregients, manufacturing, directions, and warning parts of the label. The big supplement in this is Lutemax 2020 which is largely derived from marigolds. I don't know if it actually does much or not.The gummies are a stiffer gummy, the smell is kind of pleasant, they say berry flavored. They tasted okay. They weren't super delicious but they tasted good for a vitamin supplement I guess. Not the worst taking supplement I've ever tried but also not the best. They are at the least palatable. They do say that they have no added sugar but it does contain malitol and stevia. Malitol does trigger an insulin response so it's not suitable for Keto but it's lower response is considered okay for type 2 Diabetes. Stevia is okay for both Keto and Diabetes. However both substances are known to cause gas, bloating, stomach upset, and even diarrhea in some people. I tend to be sensitive to both but the amount must not be enough to trigger those negative responses in me but you might want to be aware of it just in case it is causeing you any of those issues. These are 5 calories per serving (2 pieces, the recommended dose) so if you're counting calories make sure you include that in your count. Now the big question is do they work? Do they filter out blue light? Probably not... lutemax is supposedly good for all over eye health so the function is perhaps a little misleading. I think what these are really meant to do is just bolster overall eye health to help combat the effects of blue light. Does it actually do that? I have no idea. Blue light cause degradation over time and supplements tend to work slowly over time. I did not in the time I've used these (almost a full month) notice any changes good or bad in my eyes (or sleep patterns which is one of the other reasons for filtering out blue light) and I spend many hours everyday in front of a screen. My eyes are already not fantastic I wear glasses and they are a pretty strong strength. This may help over time but personally I think they are a bit pricey when there are cheaper alternatives. You could buy calendula (marigold) tea for a lot less and drink that every day to get your lutein. You could buy blue light filtering glasses or screen filters for about the the price of 1 month of vitamins and use them indefinitely, you could also turn on some of those filters in your devices settings for free. If you want to take these as opposed to the other options they are priced reasonably for gummy vitamins but are far from the most practical or economical solutions for eye health.

Pricey but worth it if it works!
At my age, I want to help my eyes as much as possible, especially given how much time I spend on my laptop or cell phone. I was very happy with the quality of these. Their taste is good and hopefully, they will work for me. Time will tell but so far so good. No negative effects from taking.5 stars!

A bit expensive, but worth it to protect your eyes.
I think we all need to address eye health and care. We spend waaaay too much time in front of screens, and our eyes just haven’t had the time to adjust to that.I got these because my husband is in the very, very early stages of macular problems. I was pleased to see a quality product dedicated specifically to his eye concerns. I am hopeful that, taken consistently, these will help. And he’ll take them, because they’re delicious. :) Since he likes and backs them, I’ll be happy to recommend this product, and put it on my repeat purchase list.
