DSTE EOS RP Vertical Battery Grip Compatible for Canon EOS RP Camera

I will never understand why Canon tends to not make battery grips for its smaller SLR and Mirrorless camera bodies. The EOS R8 has a very small and lightweight body which is fine if you are using smaller, lighter lenses. But if you are using heavier lenses such as most of the Canon L-series lenses or the larger lenses such as the EF 500mm f4 the camera is somewhat unbalanced (especially if to are using the adapter to adapt EF lenses to the RF mount). This battery grip provides the perfect solution. It also holds two batteries helping address the issue the the EOS R8's short battery life. The R8 isn't just a camera that is used by amateurs, it is a camera that is often used as a second body by professional photographers. Come on Canon, produce a battery grip for it.

Doubles battery life and gives you a bigger grip when using bigger lenses also adds a vertical grip and shutter release if required. Good build quality but not up to Canon standards but good enough.

I purchased this obviously for my Canon RP, it fits perfectly and does exactly what it is meant to do, extend the comfort of holding the camera and obviously extend the battery life as it allows for 2 batteries. Highly recommend
