One warm day I got into my car, turned on the a/c and pressed the mode button to direct the air to blow from the dash vents and got nothing from the center vents, very little from the vents near the doors and a lot of air coming from under the dash no matter what mode the vents were in. I did a search and found the problem to be a faulty air blender or mode module then did a another search and found this one here on amazon for about 1/3 to 1/5 the cost of the others. I did have to use the metal bracket and the plastic piece that actuates the blender doors from the original module and put them on the new one. It took me a little over an hour to uninstall and install everything from start to finish, the seller says it can be installed in about 15 minutes, probably if you install these on a daily basis maybe, I also found that a flexible extension was necessary to get to the screws that hold it in place. After the install my vents are blowing air where it's suppose to and the only question remaining is how long will it last but for now everything is working fine.

Works perfect. My car wasn’t changing air direction when I press the selector buttons. Took off the cam on the existing motor and put it on this one. Works like a charm. Took about 40 minutes to do the whole job. Couple of screws are in some awkward spots. Use a swivel head and extensions to make it easier.

Wife’s 2009 Honda Civic A/C was stuck on face forward air circulation setting when she tried to switch to defrost the windshield. Mechanic wanted to charge $250 for the part alone, plus whatever labor charges on top of that. Upon research on YouTube and buying this part, I was able to successfully replace this part for $30 at the time of this purchase. Wife’s Honda can switch airflow settings like new again! The unit doesn’t come with the white cam, so save the one from the old actuator, making sure not to damage it.

Would def never use this again. Turned my panel blank as if it was shorted and did not light up or respond when connected.
