Good buy
I wish it was bit longer instead of taller. Most of your gallons are in height but the tank itself is beautiful and my sharks love it. Easy to clean and the heater that comes with it works great to keep the water warm. I have no leaks or cracks and the filter that comes with it works good. It is a bit louder than other ones but it puts in work. And had a great waterfall sound. It is decently heavy so be prepared to lift with your knees. All in all it’s a great tank and great size for little tetras and angelfish.

Great product!
Excellent deal considering what it comes with, I couldn't find any other kit that came with as much stuff! I did buy 1 more plant and a hiding place for my ghost shrimp. Some one said the plants look fake, but they are supposed to as they are part of the "Wonderland " series. That being said I'll admit they look good under they changing light colors. The filter is great and it provides plenty of water movement and it's pretty quiet(it was noisy for the first 30 seconds until it worked all the air out of the turbine), the only noise to come from it now is the water cascading off of it. The heater seems to work good, although I purchased this tank as an upgrade for my 2 goldfish so I don't use the heater in this tank. I use it in their old 3 gallon fish tank with a betta. It keeps the water at an even 77 degrees F. I would recommend as some add ons; gravel, some kind of starter bacteria to cycle the tank faster, some more plants /decorations, and more water conditioner/food after the samples are used up. The instructions for the hood do say to clip the lights into the hood, but these lights (at least for the color fusion) are a different type that come with their own instructions which is easy to install and one that I prefer so when I open the hood I'm not blinded by the led lights. One other thing I would recommend to get if you don't want to wait to add fish is nitrifying bacteria such as marineland's bio spira that should cycle your tank in <48 hours.

I personally love it. I had an aquarium growing up that ...
It's an aquarium. Not huge but big enough, you can put many different fish in it. I personally love it. I had an aquarium growing up that was the same size, but haven't had one in 20 years. This is a great one to get back in the game. Here are my initial impressions, and I will also leave some highly recommended upgrades to get you started. It's came securely packaged. Working for a few years in distribution, I am fine with how it was packaged and don't get the issue that some people complain about. It comes with a lot of nice little extras. Water treatment, thermometer, fishnet, fish food...every little thing you can think of to get started. If you are thinking of getting an aquarium, I would definitely start with this one. Now, bad things.Sorry, but I have to do this. It comes with an nonadjustable thermostat. It heats to about 74 -76 degree range, so this will be the very first part replaced. But it also doesn't come with an underwater filter and air diffuser of any kind. I know that the filter it comes with naturally diffuses air back into the water, but....personal preference. So here are the upgrades that I think you should add to your cart before you purchase this item.Start off by buying an undergravel, filter. This one fits perfectlyLee's 15/20 Original Undergravel Filter, 12-Inch by 24-InchYou will need tubing and an air pump for it. I went with thisAir Pump. Rated for 40 gallons...should be great for an upgradeTetra 77853 Whisper Air Pump, 40-GallonYou can never have too much tubing, so I added this alsoPENN PLAX Standard Airline Tubing Air Pump Accessories, 25-Feetand gravelGlofish Aquarium Gravel, Black with Fluorescent Highlights, 5-Pound Bag2 bag minimum...I messed up and just bought 1 bag. It didn't even cover the bottom with a thin layer. 2 would work, I think, but I went ahead and just placed an order for an extra 2 that will give me a total of 3.An Air ManifoldHang on 4 Way Air Pump Manifold Valve Taps REMOVABLE for 4/6mm tubing line tubeand some sort of background decorother than that, all you really need is a better heater. Temperature control is probably one of the most important things you can do for your fish beside feeding them. I just ordered thisEHEIM Jager Aquarium Thermostat Heater 300Wthen just add fish, and you will be really happy.

Great Tank, Like Hinged Hood. Make Sure Pump Tube is Pressed Down Tight.
There are several components to this aquarium to review.Firstly, the tank itself. It seems made well, simple enough. Now the hood. It has perforated cutouts for a filter and such. It also has a rectangular feeding hole near the front. There are extra spaces in the back for the light cable and air tubing if so desired. The lights actually have to be placed into their respective slots on the underside of the hood and there is a channel for the cord. The light cord can come out the left or right side, depending on preference. There are also 2 hinges that need to be installed. We found installing them onto the hood first worked easier than putting them on the tank's rim first. Just make sure that the front lip of the hinge clip (shorter side) goes under the tank's inner rim or the hood will not go down flat/sit flush. I like the hood overall, but I am concerned about the light strips constant contact with water. They're not submerged in the water, but they stay wet nonetheless. The heater is not being used, so I can not comment on that. I did stick the exterior temperature strip on the outside of the tank. Now onto the other accessories. The fishnet is basic, simple. Tjere is also some aquarium starter to make tap water safe and a small sample of fish flakes. I highly recommend having your own fish food and aquarium solutions. The decor is sparse. They actually gave me the wrong decor for my tank. I did get the boxwood gravel mat, but the rest of the plants that were in my kit were the "GloFish" plants. They're really bright and cheap looking and are better suited for the GloFish version kit, which they are actually intended for. If I had wanted the GloFish accessories, I would have chosen the GloFish kit. All the rest of the decor in my picture was from my smaller aquarium or ones that I purchased separately. I'm glad I had my own stuff because the included decor is pretty chinsy.Lastly we're onto the "Whisper" filter system. Whisper is a bit of a stretch, more like humming filter. As you can guess this is not as quiet as they make it sound, but it is tolerable... well at least now it is. I did have an issue w/the filter being super loud for days. I was so annoyed because it sounded like a small aircraft taking off in my dining room and it could be heard throughout the house. I almost dropped the star rating severely because of the amount of noise this thing was making. I decided to tinker w/the filter system again to see if I got a defective one or if it was some other issue. I'm glad I did because it's way more quiet now, not a Whisper, but definitely not obnoxious. The tube that presses down into the pump had somehow gotten slightly loose. This was causing vibration and also the pump gear wasn't catching like it should. The result was the filter was super loud. Once I tinkered around and pulled the tube back up and pressed it back in until it clicked, then the noise dropped drastically. Also, I found that I can not use the bio sphere filter type mediums in the back of the filter either because they cause vibration too. The pump comes w/1 Large size filter. Make sure to buy/order more of those too for monthly changes.

Beautiful tank, definitely worth the price
We bought this tank after having some bad experiences with a 3.5 gallon. It is a beautiful tank, and came with everything it said it would come with along with instructions. Nothing is broken. The one problem with it is that there are holes in the lid (one for a feeding hole and two pop out pieces for filters) that cannot be covered up. We have cats and they like to stick their paws in the water, so that is potentially problematic. To fix this, we hot glued the pop out pieces to the tank to cover the hole made by the filter and we glued the feeding door from our old tank over the feeding hole. All of the pieces included worked, including the heater. We thought it was broken at first because the red light turned on and then off instead of red and then green, but it turns out that the red light turns off when it is finished heating instead of turning green. The plants included are plastic and not very colorful, but they are very big and were a nice addition to the tank. Overall, we were very satisfied with this tank for the price it came at. Another small issue is that I think it is a little less than a 20 gallon tank judging by its measurements, but that isn't a major deal.

Great tank, hard to find replacement lights
This is a fantastic tank. I purchased it in September 2022, and set it up in October. I haven't had any issues with it, and the same fish I bought then are still happy and healthy! As of today though (July 30th 2025) the light strip has started to flicker and shut off on its own. I have been looking for replacement lights, but the lights in this hood are very unique and I cannot seem to locate a replacement. After searching Amazon, customer reviews, the Web at large and the company site, I still haven't located this particular light strip. I did call and left a message with customer service as it's after hours over East where their headquarters are. I hope to hear back soon with some options, but am wondering if anyone has had to replace the light and may have other resources?

Refused to help me. An so much broken and wrong
I reached out to company by phone and their contact sheet. No response. Clamps broken on light. Light is wrong light for the tank. Doesn’t fit under the lid at all and can’t go on back of tank due to filter and can’t go on side of tank due to its to long for the side. It’s fully not what’s advertised at all on the lights or how to install at all. The material is flimsy for lid and lid and clamps to lid are broken on one side and lid is cracked. Was a birthday gift I got bc my birthday is this week. Can’t send it back bc I don’t have the box. Figured it would all be new and nothing broken. I even went out and bought new items and rocks and new filters and lucky bamboo to add next week. Just tried tonight to finally take it off the counter and look at it and try to see if I could get it ready to cycle. Noticed the crack in the lid first. Thought okay it’s fine. Won’t be a big deal but nope then notice the lights are not even the right lights for the tank at all. Like no comparison to what’s suppose to come with it. So now I have cracked lid and no lights at all. Not to mention two clamps were broken as well. One for lid and one for the light that doesn’t even fit this tank. So I stopped their and didn’t even bother to look at the rest. Just done and out 160 plus dollars for a twenty gallon tank that has no lid and no lights. I could have bought a 20 gallon at pet store for 20$ on sale for what I got for this. If I could give zero stars I would for lack of communication and failure to help

Would be almost perfect if the pump wasn't so very loud and annoying.
Set up was easy. Looks great . Pump is very loud, followed all of the trouble shooting solutions for a noisy pump, problem remains. Will convert to (2) pumps instead of one that we are Currently using on a smaller aquarium
