The media could not be loaded.  I just got the Hero9 pre holidays gift from my wife, I thought to have a permanent mount on all my boards, but it will kindly ruin their beauty, so I decided to try and adapt to this concept of suction mount. And the results speaks for themselves ..went out on 1st winter swell in Los Angeles...7-9ft powerful waves, and all what happened in the worst wipeout and washing machine waves was that the suction moved 2 inches down the board, but didn't detached at all. And stayed safe. It might be very risky, but I added a little mount at the bottom of the nose to tether cord to the floaty (i wish this mounts and cords will come all together with the floaty, and not just suggestive, it will give extra confidence to purchase for non experimental surfers or filmmakers)Bottom line, the results speaks for themselves, I really enjoy switching the mount/camera between my short, mid and long board during one session without having permanent mount that stuck on the nose.

Wow. The Bodhi Floaty is awesome. I was a little skeptical when I bought it, but after taking it out on the water, I am thoroughly impressed. I took it surfing and I wiped out and got knocked around a ton, and this thing didn’t budge a bit from my board. The suction power is amazing. But once you’re ready to take it off, it’s super easy to do by pinching the little nubs on the suction cups and it comes right off without damaging your board. And just to test it out, I dropped it in the water to see if it really floats, and of course, it does. And the bright orange suction cups float upwards so it’s super easy to spot. Honestly haven’t been this impressed with a product in a long time. If you surf/ paddle board/ boat, etc. do yourself a favor and get this thing.

Really sturdy and great quality. It indeed floats on water even with the camera on. the suction cups as super strong and adheres to a smooth surface with no problems.Unfortunately where I want to set it up on my inflatable SUP is not smooth enough so the suction cups don’t adhere. Maybe they can come up with an accessories for us who don’t have regular paddle boards. Adhered strongly to my cooler and other smooth surfaces.

Great Suction on my SUP. At first I thought it could benefit from a spinning top to change the view, but it turns easy enough and suctions onto the board great. It has an eyelet for tethering. I just used a piece of cord I had laying around. I defiantly want the bodhi case now. I like to change the cam from the Bodhi Floatie to a paddle mount, and if I dropped it it would be gone. Definitely worth the money!

I ordered this all excited to have a suction that floats and when I went to mount my go pro the plastic part my go pro mounts to were cracked and the screw on the other end popped out. I returned and got another thinking bad luck but the second one also had small cracks so I didn’t even try to mount my go pro and just returnedEDIT!I was contacted by the creators and they fixed the problem at hand and had sent me a replacement of the new and improved and it is perfect! It held onto the boat and was perfect!

I purchased this for my stand up paddle board and wasn't thrilled with the suction/adhesion. It does not adhere to my board at all, whether it's dry or wet. I tried both ways, but neither worked. It pops off within seconds. However, because it does have a triangular base, I stick it under the handle and it keeps it in place, unless I fall off the board. I also purchased a leash since it doesn't stick, that way if it falls off the board, I won't lose my GoPro. I haven't tried it on other surfaces yet, but it seems like it may work great on the right "type" of surface.

I bought this mount and it's a great product for the most part, but it kept coming un-attached to my kayak. I wasn't in rough water & it kept sliding off. All in all, I got a great video from it and I'm happy.

Came recommended for paddleboards and kayaks , but after receiving it I tried it at home on a regular surface and it was sticking, not a lot but I figured it'd work better on my paddleboard. Nope, I tried it before going to the water, I tried it at the launch by adding a bit of water, I tried every trick in the book and nothing. Just threw it back in the car and didn't use it because it just wouldn't stick to my board.

We used the product on a kayak worked well on the smooth surface but not on the rougher surfaces
