So I bought this and used it for a month. Then a wheel bent. The seller sent me a wheel to replace the bent one. During our conversation. It came to light that they were having issues with the base being softer material and the mount bending. The unit I received didn't look bent st ther base but the wheel was bent and destroyed. Once I got the new wheel installed I noticed the wheel while standing over the unit was bent. You could see one side of the bolt thru the wheel but not the other. I emailed the seller they asked for a picture. I sent them and haven't heard back yet. In closing the product suffers from poor material. The customer service is ok at first but then falls way short. Hope this helps make a decision.

After 10 days 2 wheels bent and one had the rubber wheel come off it's little round axle... After sliding off and hitting the floor I tried to get a refund but the company wants me to return it.... I understand the reason except I'm 68 years old and handicapped and I'm unable to drive around looking for a heavy duty box to fit this 24 lb. stool... So I'm out $100... .I DO NOT recommend, but if you decide to buy one, keep the box for at least 3 months... One star is for the seat and the legs, no problem there it's just the wheels are crap.

this is a great stool. the softest seat and strongest frame i have found in 25 years or so. i don't know if the total longevity sense i only had it a couple days. it does seam like it will hold up . i will give it a run to prove rock solid with my 445lb. it is in my wood shop it will get worked over. at this point i am saving up to get 1 moor i do love it . it was delivered fast and in one piece. the box was in perfect shape . if it fail's in any way i will up date. one thing i would suggest to any one with this stool is to take out the 5 axle bolts and put some grease or oil on them so they last . the axle's are dry so us big kids will be after new wheels in a while. or any heavy user no matter the weight. this is a good stool.

Was concerned with the wheel problems others had faced. Stool just arrived this week and learning to use it (home, indoors). The metal bar under seat helps to steady the stool and put your butt firmly in the center. I'm a big guy so I want to know what's under me is solid; feels good in that respect. HATE the wheels. Hopefully use will ease them up, but I doubt it. Wheels make stool very clunky on tiled floor and not easy to move around. Manufacturer should address this issue and under they do, no 5 stars.

Perfect, exactly what i needed.Comfy, couldn't be easier to assemble.Note: I've seen reviews warning about easily bent caster feet. I could see how that might happen if1. Over 350lbs and2. Carpet.I'm using this on bare floor, so the torque on the caster housings is likely to be less.Just a thought - we'll see how it goes.

The wheels are bending and I am nowhere near 400 pounds. Everything else is OK. I would like to replace the wheels with something more durable. Any suggestions would be appreciated.*Never heard from anyone about the wheels. Had the wheels replaced and now the hydraulic lift has fallen out. Not recommended.

All five casters were bent and useless with a year's worth of use in my kitchen. The frame and seat are in good condition. The problem is the casters. I would like to replace the casters with heavier larger diameter wheels casters.

Bought this for my husband who has a back injury and can't stand for long periods but loves to cook. It was quick and easy to assemble. The seat is big for a larger bottom and comfy. The wheels are excellent. Smooth rolling and quiet. We are in a top floor condo and were worried about plastic wheels making too much noise. These wheels are durable not like plastic casters.***Had to update my original review after the stool was replaced twice as the rubber peeled off the wheels and the base cracked. The company was nice enough to replace but we are unable to remove the wheels to change to a different type. Sad as we had such high hopes after reading other reviews.
