Opted for the thinner (17mm) mat to suit depth of inset but even so it looks to be tough enough to suit its role as doormat to the boot room.

This is good, and like the lighter backing so won't stain any flooring underneath.We cut ours long ways in two to provide two long mats for our double doors

Some fibre faults/ irregularities. Bit tricky to cut and edge neatly. Quite orange in colour.

Used this mat for the purpose of discouraging my cat from stropping the carpets. He LOVES sharpening his claws on it, on the kitchen floor. Worth every penny!

I found this matting to be of excellent, heavy quality. Easy to cut and fit even though the fibres are densely packed. Highly recommended.

The coir matting arrived in very good time - too early to say how it will wear but looks good. At the moment is placed at the front door to my flat and will help to clean feet!
