The fans are working as they should, and are super quiet.

Perfect replacement for stock fans that were failing. Very quiet fans.Note that self installation is a complex and time consuming process that requires near total disassembly of the laptop. While you have it all pulled apart, I suggest agoing ahead and doing a fresh cpu/gpu repaste with a high quality thermal paste. Not recommended if you do not have any experience with laptop repair due to complexity and risk if you make even a small error. Yes, it is worth paying someone to do it for you!

The media could not be loaded. I only needed on fan and was lucky enough to have the one I needed to replace work fine. I was going to go ahead and just replace the other set (gpu?) While I was at it but as seen in the vid one of the fans is precessing about it's axis. I don't think this is from shipping. The package looked sound. I'd send it back for a replacement but it's a loss of a couple dollars. I'd spend more money in gas and time then it's worth.

The fan on my GS 63 Stealth started grinding so I ordered this. I have no experience opening up a laptop, but found a guide on YouTube and it went well. A few months later it's still running well.

These were an exact match to the fans that came with the original laptop. The replacement process is more complicated that your typical laptop. You have to completely remove the motherboard, then remove the entire heatsink. The fan shrouds (back side of fans) are are attached to the heatsink itself. Need a 0 or 00 Philips head screwdriver to remove those. Then reverse all steps to re-assemble.Good idea to have new thermal paste on hand since you are puling the CPU and GPU heatsink off. Wipe clean and apply new thin layer. Not hard to do, just more complicated than other laptops.These fans however are good quality and I would buy them again if needed. Shipped right away and I lucked out that the distribution center they shipped from is only about 80 miles away.

Replaces fans in msi laptop. Entire motherboard must come out to swap fans. After one day, the new fan started buzzing terribly and has already failed. Would not recommend this brand, it's cheaply slapped together and does not last. Now the entire laptop must be taken apart again. Big thumbs down to garbage.

I have been through a few of these non-OEM fans for my MSI laptop over the years (since I can't find true OEM ones)...these spin up to 4800-5k RPM which is better than others which were only 3k-ish and died after a few months. Worth it!

Silent. runs like a dream. super happy with the replacement. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more on this instead of the cheaper options.
