Nico’s brother has hooked him up with a red head. When a red head shows up at Nico’s classic car restoration garage, he proceeds to “put the moves on her” in his office. Another red head shows up only for Nico to learn that the red head he was putting the moves on was the wrong one and earns a slap from both red heads. She will not take no for an answer so Nico says, “Why not!” Along the way, the situations get awkward, comical, and frustrating with Lily needing to study for the law exam, stops she wants to make to see America, and her excuses in the hotel. Nico shows a tremendous amount of patience trying to understand why she is so hesitant on this fling road trip. Ofcourse Nico has his own baggage. Why is he so determined not to get married when that is what Lilywants eventually? They are developing feelings but denying that as they grow and learn about each other. Lily is starting to work her way into his heart. The chemistry between Nico and Lilly is great in accepting each other for how they are. Lily is truly a great find just needing love and Nico is a totally caring guy accepting her curves and quirks. Being a fling road trip, you will have sex scenes in the hotel. A person wanting to “let loose” might have second thoughts when the time actually comes. This standalone book will have you laughing at the mishaps along the way, you will tear up, and you will think about the reasons for your own insecurities. I would recommend this book.

This was a really good book! Lily figured Nico wouldn't like her cause of her curves and Nico couldn't understand how come no guy had snatched Lily up. Lily arranged this trip to learn a few things and Nico wanted an old car. They both got more than they expected on the trip! Nico realized what a great gal Lily is and Lily learned that Nico wasn't a shallow guy and really cared!

What turned into more than a no holds barred road trip was anyone's guess! For awhile it seems as though Nico and lily would never even part as friends. Her father was a nasty treat after all those years. Lily was welcomed by Nico's family and was thankful for that happy ending to their road trip!

How this story started was an interesting getting to know you kiss, oops wrong redhead! But the accidental meeting of Lily and Nico started to blossom into a challenging friendship/love relationship. A great romance!

I guess I need to go back to the beginning. My first book by this author and I’m hooked. Nico is a dream!!

This was a enjoyable read. Upbeat and looks like I should check out the previous six books. Interesting story line.

I would have given the book a four star but the political beliefs should not be thrown in when it doesn't flow with the story.The storyline was a tad sad......the families were on opposite sides of the pendulum.Would I recommend the book or read more from this author? Yes....even if I have to cringe over her political views.
