Graham has been 1 of my favorite Harlequin authors
Need more conversation and less in the think tank. Graham has been 1 of my favorite Harlequin authors. But stories seem to be same old same old story lines with different names. Poor uneducated girls with rich men.

Typical man whore and virgin ..boring
Just for once I would love to read about Heroine with a few lovers in her past. At least then she has something to compare sex with the hero.

"Take a risk on me."
4 Stars! The Italians One-Night Baby is the second book in Lynne Graham’s Brides for the Taking series. I haven’t read the first book, which in no way affected my enjoyment of this book, although I am interested in doing so now, as the heroine ends up with a Desert King (one of my particularly favorite tropes)."Once met, never forgotten…"Rio Benedetti and Ellie Dixon’s first meeting didn’t end on the friendliest of terms. He in particular with a slap to the face and Ellie left feeling every inch of her inexperience with men. Two years on and their second meeting doesn’t get off to the greatest starts either, when Rio initially believes that Ellie, has nefarious designs on his godfather.Rio wasn’t the forgiving and forgetting sort…The title pretty much sums up the main trope of this story, and as you would expect with a typical M&B hero, Rio is dauntless in getting what he wants from Ellie."Take a risk on me."I remember reading a lot of Lynne Graham’s books before the days of the e-reader, and she sticks true to form with The Italians One-Night Baby, alpha-male, virginal-inexperienced-female, a little sexy interaction, and a bit of flowery prose. As you would expect there is the inevitable stumble in the proceedings towards the end, but I read this book in an evening, which is exactly what I expect to do when I am enjoying a title from this publisher.

Entertaining
I liked the storyline and the characters. They were both very entertaining. I look forward to the next instalment. Would definitely read again.

Ellie and Rio
Ellie met Rio at her sister's wedding. She did not like him even though he was very handsome. So when Ellie visited Italy to find her dad, Rio was there. He wanted to know why she was there.

Book two of an excellent series!
I am perhaps a bit biased about Lynne Graham's books as I enjoy her style of writing. This book is the second in a series of books about three sisters, (one of whom is estranged and has only been hinted about in both books), the other two were raised by their grandmother. All the sisters were fathered by different men they know nothing about. On their grandmother's death, they find that she has left each of them an envelope containing a ring and the name(s) of the man who had fathered them. In this particular book Ellie who is a doctor goes to Italy in search of the men named as her father, only to discover that one of the two named is the godfather of a much younger man she met at her sister's wedding in the first book of this series. (Well worth reading that book as well!) She had found Rio annoying when she first met him, and he jumps to the conclusion that she is after his godfather's money. However he is attracted to her and their mutual attraction leads to an early wedding. DNA also proves the godfather to be her birth father. You really must read the book to appreciate all the nuances of this book. I am really looking forward to meeting the third sister as I hope Lynne is planning that story already! Recommended.

Rio and Ellie, a hot and feisty couple!
Ellie was raised by her grandmother after her mother became ill and then passed away. Ellie’s mother left three envelopes, one for each of her three daughters by three different fathers. Each envelope contains a ring and the details of each daughter’s father. The second book is Ellie’s story and her search for her father, which leads to her second encounter with Rio. Ellie met Rio at her sister Polly’s wedding, where they went from instant attraction to a spectacular falling out and have disliked each other ever since.Ellie and Rio were both strong and feisty characters which made for an interesting read. Rio had a difficult start to life until he met Beppe, who became his god father. This relationship showed the softer side to Rio. When Ellie arrives in Italy to find out if Beppe is her father, Rio has a background search carried out on her and he doesn’t like what he finds. This adds to the anger and mistrust between Ellie and Rio.I have been a fan of Lynne Graham for many years and again she has written a lovely story which includes many unique twists in the story. Without giving too much away the love scenes between the two are unique and not as you would have expected.Whilst I enjoyed this book and it can be read as a stand alone, I wish that I had read the first book in the trilogy before reading Ellie and Rio’s story. Polly, the sister from the first book, popped up from time to time in this second book. Although I expect a happy ever after, I feel that Polly’s story has been spoiled for me. I am going to now read Polly’s story and can’t wait for the third book about their younger sister, Lucy, who was put into care when she was a baby.
