Replaced the battery in my 2004 ninja with this one - never failed to start since.As far as I'm concerned, this is a decent battery at a really good price

Amazon's vehicle/part matching tool says this fits the 1982 Suzuki GS650. I found that it would only fit if installed directly, without the bike's plastic battery holder/basket that directs acid overflow through a drain pipe to the ground rather than onto the bike frame. With the holder it is too tall to fit. While this is a sealed battery and so there would not be overflow, this does still seem somewhat less safe as the battery may be more subject the vibration (particularly with little vertical clearance) and potential breakage. If breakage were to occur, leaked acid would not be routed through the bike's drain as it should be.The battery arrived fully charged as advertised. It is spec'd to have a much better CCA rating than other batteries I've gotten for this bike in the past or that are available locally so hopefully the bike will start easier. It's been sitting for a few years and it's always been tough to start after sitting over winter with my past batteries (generally needing a jump from a car battery despite a full charge, until it's been run for a while). Hopefully that won't be as much of an issue with this battery. I haven't tried starting it yet as I need to do some work on the bike and get some fresh gas for it first so I can't report on that yet.

Awesome battery, sealed battery is the only way to go.

bought this battery in November 2016, now in April 2017, battery is dead. Don't waste your money on a battery that will only last 6 months. When motorcycle is not in use, the battery is hooked up to a battery tender, so, I know that it is not dead from sitting around through the winter months.

Works perfectly. I didn't get around to installing until about 4 months after purchase and I didn't even have to throw it on the trickle charger. Installed and the bike fired right up. Seems to do better with cold starts as well.
