Barsony New OWB Flap Holster for Compact, Sub Compact 9mm 40 45 Pistols

Bought this for working around my house and yard- wanted to keep the dirt and debris from getting on my gun while working. I carry a S&W M&P Shield 9mm and this is perfect. As I’ve broken it in the barrel sticks out of the bottom everrrrrr so slightly, we are talking maybe 1/8 of an inch, hardly noticeable. It fits snug and the Velcro strap is great and strong.

I have only had this holster for a few days, but I put it to the test this weekend while wearing it the entire day working at my property. I raked, lifted stuff and even hung treestands with this on and I forgot I had it strapped to my belt. Good workmanship and I really like the cover flap that protects the gun from dirt and debris. I know it isn't "draw ready", but that doesn't matter in what I am using it for: a light, durable holster that has a large flap to protect the gun. I recommend.

This review is specific to the use of this holster with the Walther PPS. If you are carrying a pistol with a round in the chamber this holster may be unsafe. The Walther PPS fits in and out of the holster okay when you are holding it and testing the fit. But as soon as you put the holster on a belt, the back side of the holster where the belt goes through bunches up and prevents proper withdrawal of the pistol I suggest redesigning it with a more rigid back or more interior :slop"to allow for smooth withdrawal of the gun. If someone was in a pinch and had to draw the weapon under stress, I predict that they might experience an accidental discharge by having to pull too hard on the gun and inadvertently allow their finger to go to the trigger prematurely. This is an especial risk because the PPS has only the trigger safety. If the holster had more play to it, it would be safer. I will not be using this holster, although I otherwise like it's design. Now that I know, the accidental discharge would be a negligent discharge.

Use it for my Glock 26 while doing ranch work. The gun is protected by the flap and the ride is low-med so it's out of the way, and you hardly know it's there.
