Delta Mateo Single Handle MagnaTite faucet uses a magnetic dock I think it is called Diamond Seal to lock into place. We have had this 9 months and it is nice as the first day we got it. We bought the artic blue color and it is beautiful. The shield spray is silly. I am not even sure it really prevents water spray. What works is the install and adjustment to the flow of water. Ours is powerful but you can slow down the power to a trickle and it still gets dirt off your dishes. I like that the faucet always goes right back into place. LOVE THAT! It has a high arc and it swivels all the way around. It pulls down so it feel great in your hand when you are washing veggies or cleaning a dish pan or even washing your sink. I believe install by a plumber will help with the success of your faucet. We are fortunate to have a plumber install our and get the water flow perfect for our pleasure. Love this faucet and love Delta !

They are awesome when they work (5 stars).I had licensed plumber install the Mateo and he couldn't get the TOP portion to work. Spent an hour on the phone with Delta (funny experience... someone who has never installed one before trying to tell a plumber who installed two of them in the previous week he was doing it wrong). Delta sent an isolation plate. Didn't solve the problem. Delta sent a new solenoid. Didn't solve the problem. Of course it won't fix issue - IT'S A CONDUCTION PROBLEM. I told them this because with a 1 cm piece of copper wire, I can force the top section to work. So... 2 weeks, 3 calls with mediocre customer support, and 3 hrs of licensed plumber bill later ($300), the Touch2O only still works on the BASE section. Delta will probably replace it I demand, but won't pay for the plumbing costs.It should be a great product, but Delta won't admit they sent a defective product, nor will they reimburse for any plumbing work.

I love the look of this faucet. It's gorgeous! However, I'm disappointed in a few things. The water flow is slow for a faucet in this price range. I also am not a fan of the sprayer. I would rather have one center spray than 2 side sprays. It's awkward. Also it splashes a lot. The spray shield helps with the splashing but the flow is dismal. I really wish I would have made another choice. I've only had it a few weeks.

This is our second Delta Touch2O. It is a great product and it will really spoil you. Since we purchased this, we have had several family and friends replace their faucet with the same system and everyone loves it. We bought our first one around 2012 or so and it had a few minor issues which Delta stood behind 100%. I just installed this one a few months ago and they really seem to have worked out the issues as it hasn't had any issues.I highly recommend this faucet for anyone who is interested in the convenience of just touching the faucet with any part of your body to turn the water on and off. Seems silly, but you will get spoiled very very quickly.

Looks great and extension is wonderful. However, the touch control leaves a lot to be desired. We purchased the optional adapter to make sure we always had power and have the batteries in as back up. This faucet turns itself on and off, even with no one in the room. And there are multiple instances of it not turning on or staying on for more than a few seconds when touched (yes, the handle is in the on position). The faucet looks very nice, but the touch functionality that we paid so much extra for has much room for improvement.

After 3 lady lux Grohe faucet replacements due to a cold water line leak I gave up on Grohe and purchased this DELTA. Although not as "heavy duty feeling" as the Grohe the water lines on the Delta are made of a nylon and rubber type material vs. Grohes 'metal flex' lines that fail / leak after a few weeks. The Delta also retracts better using the counter weight vs. Grohes 'Spring' retraction method. Water pressure is MUCH better - careful how much you regulate as may splatter. Overall good faucet and thanks to Amazon for standing by their refund / replacement policy for what totals 4 Grohe replacement / return items.

I love how this faucet operates and the black stainless steel color is a great accent to all my black stainless appliances (the colors are not exactly the same but both are a smoky dark grey). The only issue I've had is that the 6 AA batteries that came with it were dead so I put 6 new ones in which then went dead after about 2 weeks. Hopefully, the second set were duds and the current ones will last a while. Granted, I've turned it off and on about a million times since I got it installed because it's such a great faucet :).

Got product fine. It is a very well crafted product. Was never able to get the touch function to work properly. Should have bought same faucet without touch function and would have been great and cheaper

Looks great. Feels sturdy and “heavy” in a good way. Not flimsy. Clearly well made. My plumber recommend the brand and said it is better than most and you don’t pay up for some fancy foreign brand. Got on sale so I thought the value was great! Maybe slightly older model but who cares.

It has awesome water pressure!! The new feature “spray guard“is questionable in it’s effectiveness, however it doesn’t distract from how much better this tap is than the 3 year old Moen product we replaced that couldn’t spray hard enough to rinse out the sink. Both similar prices.

I really like these delta faucets, the magnetic latch is a must have!as a contractor I recommend delta for the kitchen faucet.

Really happy with the tap, the looks, quality and function. Has three different spray options, and like the magnetic hold. Would buy it again!

It has three options on the nozzle and you can pull it out and reach any where in the sink. Recommend.
