Excellency in a Pan
These set of three Cake Boss Professional Nonstick pans are great for making cakes. I have nearly been using these pans for about three years and I don't have a single complaint about them. These pans have a great weight to them since they are made out of aluminized steel; which means, the steel has been hot-dip coated on both sides with aluminium-silicon alloy. This is to ensure a tight metallurgical bond between the steel sheet and its aluminum coating. The aluminized coating protects the metal from rusting. However, it is important to note that if the pan is scratched or damaged, it will allow the metal to rust. It is very rare for this to happen, but if it does, it will cause the pan to rust from the inside out.The Cake Boss pans are round and come in a set of three sizes which range from 6, 8, and 10 inches. The quilted surface ensures an even heat distribution and excellent browning. On the bottom of it pan a maximum amount of cups is displayed. This number shows you the volume of the pan. Remember, the more batter you put in a pan to cook, the longer it will take to cook. In addition, it is messier and more difficult to clean. I highly recommend to use only about 4-6 cups of batter so your cakes can rise within the pan.In conclusion, the Cake Boss Nonstick pans are a great addition to any baker's collection of pans. They are heavy duty, simple to clean up after, and very convenient to store since you can stack them inside each other. I highly recommend these pans to any level of baker-intermediate or otherwise.

For the professionals, consider getting two sets if you need more height.
I love these pans for tiered cakes. These were the perfect size and I like the substantial feel of them. I am going to get a lot of use out of these! I just used them for the first time tonight. Even though they say they are nonstick, I always use a spray for quick release when the cakes have cooled down. They will leave a pattern and the 'cake boss' name, but they do get a crumb coating. There were two reviews that complained about sloping, I didn't experience any problems with this. Also, if you are worried about a 2' inch depth, for most home cooks, this is not a problem, but for the professional that need larger tiers, consider getting two sets since they are discounted and just cut off the tops. This set works as advertised and feel fortunate that I have not wasted money on a cheaper version that I would have to replace over and over again. I will say that for the smaller one, be careful how much batter you put in. I had an overflow problem tonight (totally my fault). The result was still pretty good. Cut, filled and crumb coated, wrapped and put int the freezer to work on the fondant tomorrow.

Cake Boss Nonstick Bakeware Stacking Set
This is a very, very nice set of pans! After reading some of the reviews, I was worried. Not only is this set well made, but it won't dent easily either. It's very heavy!! Yes, there are impressions on the bottom of each pan, but I think it might be designed to allow the escape of air bubbles. Either way, the bottoms are easy to clean even with the impressions. The only hard part cleaning was the sides where they are put together. One thing I didn't quite understand was the CUPS on the inside bottom of each. I will tell you DO NOT put that many cups of cake mix into each pan!! I ended up with a major mess in my oven from overflowing batter.Pros:Heavy DutyEasy CleanupStack inside each other to save storageCake comes out very easily as long as you follow the instructionsThe resulting cakes stack very nicelyI have included photos for anyone who wants to see them. One is the cake I made for my daughters recent sixteenth birthday. (The color of the pans is actually silver, but I didn't use flash either!)

Worth it
Okay first of all, I am NOT a baker. I know it’s hard to believe because of this masterpiece I was able to produce for my mom for babysitting my son (sarcasm). But I do love to bake even if my creations are super ugly. I have the problem most people have where my cake sticks half in the pan and the other half flops out onto the cooling rack. I bought these pans after reading the reviews on them and HOLY CRAP they are wonderful. I know you aren’t supposed to spray stuff on nonstick pans but I was so scared so I sprayed half a millispray of PAM and the cakes slid right out beautifully. It was like a blessing from the culinary Gods. The print and quilting pattern displays on the cakes afterwards but icing covers it right up. These pans are the bomb dot com. I’m thinking of getting the square ones.

But these heavy duty pans have rolled rims for a good grip, and baked perfectly even and flat-topped layers
I got these pans to make a multi-tier naked cake, and out of the 20+ cake pans I own, these are by far the heaviest. But these heavy duty pans have rolled rims for a good grip, and baked perfectly even and flat-topped layers, just like my favorite Parrish Magic Line pans. It's definitely non-stick, and I was surprised how easy it was to wash clean, no soaking required at all & looked just like new. So as far as maintaining goes these pans are perfect. Unfortunately I did not notice till after baking my test cakes that the sides are sloped & thus a no-go for a stacked tier cake, unless you're planning on cutting off edges or adding an inch of buttercream. Or if you're making a 3 layer cake with each of these pans they'll probably turn out fantastic, but for professional use I'd have to go with something else.

Great quality, superior cake pans!
I have a home custom cake business and these pans have been life changing. The cakes do not stick, they’re sturdy and don’t dent, and everything bakes evenly. I’m asking for another set for Christmas, as this one makes all my other bakeware pale in comparison! Highly recommend for anyone who bakes cakes!
